  1. A point gained but what a disappointing finish to the meeting, 8 points up with 4 races to go and lose by 4 is just not good enough.
  2. I know it's in the rules but IMO you shouldn't be able to put any wheels over the white line as this is speedway not grasstrack so they should use the track only.
  3. I wish you had dumped him before Tuesday night as he wouldn't have won heat 14.
  4. The move to Newcastle was done to get Danny's average down so he can be Ipswich's number one for next season
  5. Great meeting tonight with some really close racing, not one 5-1 in the meeting. I think Worrall should bring his best bikes back from Poland and start producing the points a number 1 should. Cost us the meeting tonight. Rest of the top 5 were in the mix and Rohan was superb tonight. A draw would have been a fair result tonight but a point picked up will do.
  6. That was last season when we took a 20 point lead and lost the return by 32. As long as they turn up at OTA we should be okay as we had three riders missing the league cup meeting, only two this time. Last night it looked like the Somerset riders had no throttle control, coming from the fast flat out OTA to the smaller technical Ipswich track and got themselves all out of control.
  7. At least there's no tactical rides allowed in the cup and agree we need as big a lead as possible, but after last year against Workington we had a 20 point first leg lead and lost the return by 32. We just need the whole team to turn up at both meetings!!!
  8. Celebrations all round the Premier League forum, hopefully he will only post in the Elite League section now!!!!
  9. Spoke to Adam and he had an ice pack on his left knee. He said he wasn't sure but it could be muscle or ligament damage. Get well soon Adam. Good performance from team to get win especially Ritchie Hawkins who after a dodgy exclusion in heat 2 when Ben Morley was already going down when they clashed he went unbeaten. Cam was involved in the race of the meeting with Kennett but apart from that was not in the mix. Rest of the team were solid and Gino impressed again.
  10. Seems to me you have the blue, white and yellow blinkers on. The incident with Sam Masters was no different to the one in heat 12 when Steve Worrall moved Morten out into the thick stuff on bend one, the only difference is Morten stayed on whereas Sam bailed out. I think you will also find it was Richie Worrall who moved Sam out and not Tungate. Concerning heat 8 at the speed Justin went into bend 3 and how narrow he went in the only way he was getting round the turn was to use Gino as a bumper as you saw as he was still out of control after Gino went down. Surprised Ritchie didn't get a warning but hey it is Barbara Horley!
  11. Maybe Richie went over to see what set up Steve had on his bike and finally found one that worked. I thought we have had Steve at number 1 all year and Edinburgh have had Richie at reserve the way it's been. The meeting went how I expected when Edinburgh won the toss and had the better gates at the start of the meeting. Ipswich came back into the meeting half way through when they got the better gates. This was one that Ipswich should have won but lost points when the riders lost places when riding the wrong lines.
  12. Does anyone know when the cut off for the pl fours is as with these new averages Ipswich won't qualify if it is done on top five averages in each team. Interesting average for Ty Proctor if that is right. Has he really gone down to a three point average!!! The worst part is that Adam is still number 7 in the averages on 4.84. Which makes the rule that you can only replace him with a national league rider a joke as he is on almost a five point average. This rule needs looking at.
  13. Depends which Craig Cook turns up tonight, if it's the elite league version not a chance but if it's the premier league version maybe. He looked like a complete novice at Swindon Monday night.
  14. You have the answer in your question from the previous season which means 2013.
  15. Great team performance with only four last places away from home, solid scoring all the way down and good to see Rohan back in the points.
  16. That's a great idea!! But only if rerun's camera is fixed as it broke last week and they couldn't film last weeks meeting.
  17. I think you should go back to your doctor and get some stronger medication as you are still suffering from delusion. The stress of doing your exams must be getting to you.
  18. It looked like the Witches wanted it more tonight like the Panthers did on Good Friday. Have to laugh at some of the Panthers fans calling for changes after one bad result like they did at the start of the season. They have a decent team and will be there about at end of season. Back to tonight's match another inept performance from Chris Gay who again holds the tapes for an eternity. 9 reruns is too much and the meeting dragged on too long. It's as he wants to get riders excluded for touching the tapes and then fails to see that Fisher hit the tapes with his front wheel before it hit the peak of his helmet. He also didn't notice that Richie was half way to the tapes off 15m before the tapes went up in the rerun of heat one. Then he excludes Fisher for being knocked off by Blackbird. I think I would rather of had the original ref Christina Turnball as printed in the programme and that's saying something!!! He just never gets any better. Hope Lasse and Ales are okay and what a joy it was to watch Lasse blasting around in the dirt like he did the season he rode for us. You only had one heat leader missing as Ales is number 4 in your averages which means he is a second string. But I thought you were not overly concerned. Make your mind up.
  19. 6.71/0.6 = 11.18 If this is correct! Will have points to play with after he gets new average but will there be enough matches left, too much of a risk IMO.
  20. If Len got rid of Lambert and used the 5.86 left he could get Boxall & Garrity at reserve.
  21. I think you will find that you only have 0.23 to play with because if you add up the averages they seem to have missed adding Joe Jacobs average to the total.
  22. Yes, don't blame Had Enough for that my mate told me Adam wasn't riding but got it wrong and it's actually Ben Morley that's not riding.
  23. Well that's a pretty poor result, not even one race winner. If Chris was disappointed after good Friday and called three of the riders in for training after this he should call all of them in for training. Totally unacceptable.
  24. Doesn't look like there's much interest in this meeting, it's not if there's much riding on it Ipswich at least need a draw to progress but need to have all riders on it to cover for Morten and Adam being absent. How much effect will swapping Todd & Charles have on the scoring from the Somerset reserves. Think the meeting will be close with Somerset shading it, but we can only hope not!!!
