  1. Just about sums this sport up with guests, we are replacing a number 1 on a 8.84 ave with a second string on 6.49 ave, but I suppose with it being Good Friday that's the best we could get.
  2. If he is an asset Ipswich would get priority like Edinburgh do with Cook. Ipswich should seriously look to do this so we get a settled side not having to rely on guests.
  3. I know Chris sold Danny a few years ago but we might get him back for less than we sold him for, and then at least we wouldn't have the disruption of trying to find guests for our number one.
  4. Think Chris will need to get his cheque book out and sign Danny King permanently from the BSPA so we get priority over Coventry. If we are trying to build the asset base to go back Elite League Danny is a good rider to have. This just stinks of the Elite League walking all over the Premier League as usual.
  5. So if you put the teams from the end of the 2014 season against the teams named to start the 2015 season for the teams you named above you don't think they look weaker, really? The 2014 teams would win everytime and that is just my opinion. So if you can't see any potential in this team, it's going to be a long season for you. I think it's going to be a very competitive season.
  6. When your team finishes over the points limit do you really expect to change like for like. The team will look weaker as you have had to get rid of riders with higher averages to get below the limit again. This team on paper is on par with a lot of the other named teams except Somerset who are two points better off than anyone else . Can't wait til the season starts again as this team has potential to do well.
  7. Maybe it will be a new asset on a 5 ave and we nick Aaron Fox off of Edinburgh and let Gino take him under his wing which might bring the best out of him
  8. That's exactly what I said on the Ipswich thread after some posters were saying it is easier riding at number 5. The only difference is you are not out in heat 1.
  9. Well Tressarieu certainly adds entertainment when he rides.
  10. I think we should be looking at a new asset for the future not Lanham who's best is behind him.
  11. He has had his chance over the last few seasons and only has an average of 3.04 enough said not good enough.
  12. Haven't heard of Daniel Spiller is he any good?
  13. Michael Haertel is another possibility on a 5pt ave.
  14. I don't see how riding at number 5 is that much easier than riding at number 1. The number 5 still meets the opposition number 1 twice including heat 13,and can meet again if nominated for heat 15. Yes, he hasn't the pressure of heat 1 but that's it. So to say Rohan only has an average over 8 because he rode most of the season at the "easier" number 5 is rubbish IMO. It would be interesting to see what the averages would be with bonus points included like they used to be.
  15. Maybe Chris wants to have a team where he has first call on riders doubling up so we have a settled side every match without having to use guests like last season. Adam missed a lot of meetings due to clashes with Lakeside meetings and he has resigned for Lakeside after todays draft. I had Adam in all my teams permutations and it's a shame to see him go but good luck to him wherever he ends up. He won't be signing for any Friday night tracks anyway.
  16. You don't get an average reduction for failing to get a visa.
  17. How about Danny King 8.84 Richie Worrall 7.32 Thomas Jorgensen 7.09 Gino Manzares 6.02 Cameron Heeps 5.38 Adam Ellis 4.67 Oliver Greenwood 3.12 Total 42.44 Or a bit more top heavy Danny King 8.84 Rohan Tungate 8.36 Rasmus Jensen 6.14 Gino Manzares 6.02 Cameron Heeps 5.38 Adam Ellis 4.67 James Sarjeant 3.00 Total 42.41
  18. I don't think anyone else is allowed to run a 16 lapper as Arena Essex ran a similar event but it was only a 12 lapper event years ago if my memory serves me.
  19. Maybe we could bring in a slightly higher average than Rohan's as TheScotsman says and find a 3 pointer like Edinburgh did with Steve Worrall this year. Do play-off matches and koc count towards averages as if they do I would imagine Rohan's average would've gone down so he might not be over eight to finish the season.
  20. This year could be carnage if Jason Garrity makes the final He never looks in control over 4 laps never mind 16!!!
  21. Bet the Witches had you worried when they took the lead after heat 5. Congrats to the Monarchs.
  22. Can't see the points limit changing but you are going to have to shed a couple of big average riders to get below limit. I think everyone will be looking for the 2015 Steve Worrall, starting on a 3 and finishing over 7.
  23. I was pretty pee'd off last night but I still wouldn't leave a meeting before the end, and I was one of the last out of the stadium. Didn't notice lots of people leaving early but I sit right by the start line and don't pay much attention to the crowd.
