Berwick v Scunthorpe 27/08/22 7pm
mikebaker replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Jason Edwards did the opposite. 10 paid 12 helping Edinburgh to a 4 point away win at Brum. Then 2 weeks later did not score in Bears 50-40 defeat at Perry Barr. -
Great fight back. Jenkins did well. Still looked like he was suffering with his tummy bug. Steve Worrall was a strange choice of a guest initially. Looked far from fit in Mondays Wolves fixture. Not having a guest was a ridiculous choice. Especially that Edwards and Andersen are really struggling.

Can you please remove this post. Mr Carter was not married to this person. It is in extremely bad taste to say things like this on a public forum. Please have empathy and respect for people who have autism and special needs. And respect for her family.

Well done to the Promotion. If Newman can get back to his 2019 Eastbourne form, can be an astute signing. KO Cup imo is our best chance of Silverware. Lets hope Erik is back in the near future.

Ryan Douglas, by far. The best visiting rider this season. Bringing Bickley in, bad choice. Brings nothing to the team -

Redcar vs. Leicester (The Jube) 15/7/22

As it is the group winner from each section. Could go down to race points scored. We all know that Leicester have the biggest home advantage from this group. Why wasn't Jordan given Bickleys ride in heat 14. Was really stoked up after his last to second in heat 12. -
And was a much better line up. Quality of rider wise.

Glasgow v Redcar CL 1/7/22 @19.30

We went with the option of three 7+ heat leaders, and 2 rookie reserves. Edwards has come on lots, also helping other teams getting away wins. Jenkins progress has not been as rapid. He is still very poor away from home. Roynon was a strange choice. Had been away since 2018. Until his return at Newcastle last year. Scores have been very poor at home, and woeful away. Andersen has also not lived up to the expectations the club thought he would acheieve.Edinburgh have now gone above us. We are currently 6th. Away meetings at Plymouth and Poole, and any points gained there will be a bonus. Cannot afford to slip up in our 3 remaining home meetings against Berwick, Glasgow and Scunthorpe. -

Does Vissing intend to ride for the Brummies again this season. He hasn't ridden since the home meeting against Poole on 25th May. -
Wilson Dean is going to be remembered for his ridiculous actions after heat 1 on the 25th March at Redcar.

Is Paco a modern day Daz Sumner. At his prime was a sublime white liner. -
Redcar v Poole 13/5/22

We needed all 3 heat leaders to score double figures. And for Roynon and Andersen to chip in with at least 5. Fair play to the Pirates, they deserved the win. Both the Cooks scored well, and Kemp got his customary double figures.Thought the Track was far to dry, and Riss did not use the outside at all. Will Andersen be going to miss our meetings at Poole and Birmingham. As they are Wednesday nights. -
Leicester Lions v Redcar Bears 30/4/22

Been to Beaumont Park 9 times since it opened in 2011. They had a blank canvas, and got it completely wrong. Several attempts at altering the track have failed in my opinion. After our 3 visits there in 2019. Vowed i would never return. The County Ground at Exeter used to get bad reviews. Racing there was far superior than the current Leicester venue. Sadly Beaumont Park is by far the current worst track in UK. -

Do people think the same as i do. The most entertaining rider to come from middle tier, since Darcy Ward.

Palm Toft struggled at Plymouth in 2013. Strange decision for him to return.
