  1. Would of thought Taylor Poole would of got fixed up. A nightmare 2012, coming back to early from a nasty injury in the Witches 1st meeting. Was expected to replace the under performing Doolan. Last years Aussie under 21 champion, and no starting team place for 2013. Am i correct, in that Taylor is a Peterborough asset.
  2. Fixture list has us (Redcar) at Somerset on Friday 2nd August and Plymouth Saturday 3rd August. So why can't it be done for Berwick.
  3. Congratulations to Micky Dyer for qualifying for the Aussie Championships. Gained the last spot after finnishing on 8 points, which included 2 race wins.
  4. Think that belongs to Redcar along with our dire programme.
  5. Perhaps Mr.Harkess will be using his Management Committee credentials again for his own clubs benefit.
  6. As Somerset wanted to sign Brady Kurtz, but as he was refused as he does not turn 17 until September. Max Fricke is also only 16, and does not have British Paternity, so how will he be granted a visa.
  7. As a Redcar fan i will give you my view on Dilger. He had the 2 good away meetings at Plymouth and Rye. Also had alot of very poor away. Put in a few decent performances at home. Tended to fall and has a real awkward style exiting the bends. My gripe was commitment, missed important meetings, favouring to ride in non FIM meetings on the continent. I personally do not want him back with the Bears in 2013, and as he has already signed a contract to ride in Denmark next year shows that where his main preference is. May i also congratulate the new 4 man consortium. A very useful 5 signing's. Think Proctor will become a master of the tight St.Boniface Arena track. He will struggle to acheive his 9.22 starting average, but will be a genuine number 1 home and away.
  8. Have 4.73 for final rider. Anyone know if Dane Casper Wortman is still riding. On 4.72 would allow us to start with Wilko and Dyer at reserve.
  9. Did not ride in the National League in 2012 so not eligible for the reduction.
  10. You have Kyle Howarth's average wrong. It is 5.47, team total is 42.44.
  11. Think it will be Brady Kurtz, far better long term prospect.
  12. Would love it to be Brady Kurtz, but have a feeling it will be Stefan Nielsen.
  13. Getting Wilko back is a big plus for the club. Because of the rolling averages comes in on 4.66. Surely the club have got to utilise that and would build a team that allows Carl to start at reserve. Surely Jitendra as team manager, gets a say, and he would want Wilko to start at reserve.
  14. Bondarenko rode realy well in the 2nd phase meeting at the STMP on the 22/09/2011. Unbeaten in his last 2 rides. Scores: 1*,2,1,6,2* = 12+2. On 4.83 deffinately worth a shout, and would be able to start with Wilko at reserve, which is a must. Have got to utilise Carl's low starting average. How about this line up, and 6 of last years finnishing team. Ostergaard: 7.83 Summers: 7.76 Doolan: 7.29 Kus: 6.85 Bondarenko: 4.83 Wilkinson: 4.66 Mudgway: 3.28 Total: exactly 42.50.
  15. Wilko confirmed for 2013. Hopefully will start the season at reserve on 4.66.
  16. Go to www.garyhavelock.co.uk There is news on his progression. Also links to the Evening Gazette, which has reports on how Gary is coping. Hope this is of assistance to everyone who like myself wiishes all the best to a true legend in the sport.
  17. Ostergaard 7.83 Summers 7.76 Kus 6.85 Robin Aspegren 6.40 Taylor Poole 5.99 Wilko 4.66 Brady Kurtz 3.00 Total: 42.49
  18. The Speedway Updates Site has listed R/R for Bager at 2, and Wethers at 4, So i presumed that Wethers was guesting for Mason,. So should of read R/R at 2 for Campton. A mistake by the Updates Site. Thanks for pointing this out.
  19. Wethers points woiuld be deducted, giving you a 48-36 win.
  20. Congratulations to the Bandits on reaching the final. Surely the Berwick management are going to appeal on how the Tigers were granted Wethers as a guest. Current averages are Campton 4.69, Wethers 5.66.
  21. His first point scored was actually before that home meeting on the 29th May. Tuesday 20th May at the Isle of Wight, was Joni's first point for the Bears. 9days before the heat 10 victory over Sneddon. He scored a point in heat 11 when Krzystof Stojanowki had an engine failure on the first lap. He was almost a lap behind Havvy, a gift point, but it was before the earned point over Deek. Graham you also forgot to mention his legandary wheelie after the 5-1 he scored with Grievsy in heat 5 in the match against Mildenhall on the 5th June. \
  22. No outright number 1, but good balance of youth and experience. And plenty of all out racer's. Aaron Summers Alex Davies Kevin Doolan Matty Tresarrieu Matej Kus Carl Wilkinson Todd Kurtz Nominated number 8: Brady Kurtz.
  23. I wondered how long it would be until something was brought up on the BSF about the consortium at Redcar. Totaly agree, and feel for the future for the club.
  24. Well done to the the team at a track we have struggled at since our return in 2006. 49-44 to the Rockets in 2009 when Havvy got 17. And 49-42 to the Rockets in 2007, when Matty Tres failed to arrive, being our previous bests at Hoddesdon by the Bears. 10 heat winners and all 4 points so we cannot be crowned wooden spoonist's for the 2nd time in 3 years. If we were to bring in a replacement for Jade, we could surprise a few in the 7/12 trophy. We have up to 4.72 to tweek the team before the cut off date for replacement's.
  25. Going by the posts put on Bears Talk, the main consensus is that Havvy Senior is the main cause to the clubs problems. For the long term future, he has to go.
