  1. No place for him at Plymouth in 2014. Is this the last we have seen of him in the UK. Remember seeing Cory at the Isle Of Wight in 2008. Thought then would be an Elite Leauge rider in a couple of years. Any one know if Cory has had any offers for next season.
  2. Richard Lawson confirmed as new number 1 for 2014.
  3. The average was reduced to 5.00 in 2010; Kenny Ingalls and Ricky Wells both came in on 5.00.
  4. No place for Rasmus Jensen then. Would love to see him at Redcar. Had the pleasure of seeing him make his debut for the Devils last year. Lovely relaxed style. May be down to logistics, but a far better option than Lemo.
  5. Matej Kus on 6.19. May fancy another stint at Shielfield. Did a couple of meetings back in 2007 before that bizzare accident at Ashfield. Thankfully the enigma will not be back at the STMP in 2014. Yippee!
  6. Richard Lawson 8.28 Kozza Smith 7.15 Summers 7.14 Ostergaard 6.52 Skidmore 5.65 Adam Ellis 4.25 Rohert Lambert/Brady Kurtz 3.00 Total:41.99
  7. Probably down to likeability factor. Last years won by Wilko. What did he achieve last year, Half a dozen decent meetings at the end of the season, A win in a Havelock cost cutting exercise "Silver Helmet Meeting".
  8. Firstly the current consortium to bow out. A new Promotion with some drive and enthusiasim. If the points limit remains at 42.50 and double upper's remain, here is my first punt. Adam Scornicki 10.50/Cameron Woodward 10.41 Cameron Heeps 6.04 Ulrich Ostergaard 6.52 Hugh Skidmore 5.65 Aaron Summers 7.14 Brady Kurtz 3.00 Robert Lambert 3.00 Total 41.85/41.76.
  9. Final score Rye 40 Redcar 50 Leicester fans, just for you.
  10. Just a bad day at the office for the Diamonds. The whole team contributing. Rebels have got to be firm favourites now. They are capable of winning all their group matches.
  11. The thread is going off kilter here, it was aimed at Kus's failings. However totally agree about Wilkinson. When Gary got injured we had over 8.00 points to play with. The Promotion went for the cheap option. Bring in Wilko on a 6.40 average, who was surplus to requirements at Scunny. I mentioned about bringing in a Dane and 3 names I brought up were Michelsen, Mikkel Bech and Rasmus Jensen. Tungate should have been a done deal after his performances in those 3 meetings at the end of 2011. Wilko like Ostergaard has crap machinery, and falls off to much. Has he done a job at Redcar, no. Taylor Poole would of been a better option this year or Matty Tres who is an asset.
  12. Witholding his services, so r/r is allowed. If the joke of a promotion were to keep there fans informed, would not have to speculate. So no worms to worry about. We aint gonna progress any further anyway.
  13. Nohing officialy confirmed, but it looks that the enigma has parted company with Redcar.
  14. Which teams would be interested in Kus. The guy is a total waste of a team place.
  15. After tonight's performance, that has please got to be Kus's last appearance in a Bears race jacket.
  16. Plymouth,s Todd Kurtz replaces Wilko. Carl has a knee injury, from Newcastle on Sunday.
  17. Has not lived up to all the hype, and I personally feel if we have aspirations of winning something, Kus has to go.
  18. Gotta admire your dedication for your team "Shadder's".
  19. For any Worky fans travelling down for this evening's meeting. Be prepared to pay an extra £1 for adults and 50p for children. The forward thinking Redcar Promotion have decided that upping the gate price, is the way to go, towards paying for the mandatory fence for 2014. Considering your new Promotion have reduced admission for 2013, and adult cost is only £13 plus a free race-card. The Bears Website lists the new pricing as a "donation". So do not feel obliged to pay the extra amount.
  20. With the new averages, if we were to keep Davey ( my preferred option, Dilger going awol again). Release Wilko we have up to 6.40 for a replacement. Pepe Franc (6.95), is to high.Tell you who would fit Matty Tresarrieu on 5.84 or Taylor Poole on 5.99. But we all know that Mat will not don a Bears race jacket again, whilst Havvy and co are running the shambolic mess at the STMP.
  21. Would of been nice for Pearson to mention that Dyer was riding for Redcar this year. He kept on reminding us of his 2010 stint with his beloved Heathens.
  22. With Dyer guesting for the injured Chris Mills, this should be a tough test for the reigning champions. Micky is by far the best reserve in the Premier League at the moment. Edinburgh should of built their team with Micky and Tabaka starting at reserve.
  23. Has Robert Branford been signed as the replacement for Oliver Greenwood.
  24. Kus is riding so hopefully will start to perform. Sanchez would not come back to Redcar. He could not wait to get away from the place in 2010.
  25. I have yet to attend a meeting at the STMP, having been at work for the last 3 Thursday's. Going by the comments on Bears Talk, the track has been an absolute disgrace. The new track curator has no previous experience, probably doing it for a cuppa and pie and peas. Another cost cutting measure by Havelock and Co, as long as they can screw the loyal fans with a sub-standard product they will. The track has never been the same since Glyn Taylor left. There have been promises to sort the track out for the last three close seasons, nothing has been done. The best thing that can happen at Redcar is for Gary to take it over from his dad before the die hard fans do walk away for good.
