  1. Two in particular who were one track specialists. Seemond Stephens (Exeter), and Simon Walker (Somerset).
  2. Lambert missing meetings at the business time, proves costly for the Diamonds. Think Newcastle were most peoples favourites to win the play-offs. Well done Sheffield Select.
  3. The Promotion are a joke. No mention why Bellego and Skidmore were not riding. Do any Comets fans know. Ther was no preview of the meeting on the Bears official website or Facebook page.
  4. And more than likely. Never attended a speedway meeting in his/her life.
  5. Has Ged Rathbone got the begging bowl out to the Panthers fans. Monarchs Promotions usual practice.
  6. Lawson and Summers not the kind of riders in the big heats at the business end of the season.
  7. Shows the state the Sport is in. When riders like Kennett can't be bothered. Robbo was guesting for Newcastle at Redcar the night before. He is a lot older than Edward. Travel not an issue for him. Number 1s, should be setting an example. Our number 1 also did not make it St Boniface Arena, costing us an away win imo.
  8. Local rag confirming that Jye Etheridge to replace Simon Nielsen.
  9. During the close season. Angus Kix's Glamour League, in the Speedway Star.
  10. Don't want to get into a dispute over a topic which we have both got differing opinions on, which have been discussed since the start of the season on Bears Talk. The main problem is the signing of Bukhave in the first place. Think we both agree, that Havelock has dropped one almighty clanger in signing him. Panic and despair imo.
  11. So, who and when will a replacement be announced by Havelockl and co. Up to 7.59 available, for a replacement for Bukhave. Or if 2 changes were made, Bukhave and Nielsen, then up to 12.12. If club asset Rob Branford on 3.40 was to partner Payne at reserve. Then up to 8.72 for an outright number 1 for the under performing Bjerre. Have no idea who Havelock has in mind. He stated on local radio last Wednesday, that he was in discussion with 2 overseas riders, but would not divulge names, until an agreement was made. Given Havelock's track record on signing's since 2009, don't expect any one special. After all what homework was carried out on Bukhave, as his credentials back in Denmark are nothing to write home about.
  12. My apologies. League Cup count towards average. KO Cup don't. What an absolute shambles, this sport is in. And you wonder why attendances are dwindling.
  13. As an assessed new rider. Has Etheridge ridden sufficient home and away meetings "yet", to be replaced.
  14. Think Crescent Girl was referring to Dan Bewley.
  15. RIP British Speedway. Another nail in the coffin for the sport. Will he gone in this country before 2020.
  16. Speedway in general. Not Ipswich and Peterborough.
  17. Andersen has potential. Should have started the season at reserve with 5.60 average. But Havelock opts for a Dane with no credentials whatsoever. Points were available, with a 6.50/ 6.00 for Bukhave and Simon Nielsen. For what it's worth. Ostergaard is not a number 1. With the points available, a number 1 should have been a priority.
  18. How about a stright swap. Bukhave for Grondal. Ged has a soft spot for Havelock's duds. He gave Konopka a go after we finaly got rid.
  19. Safe to say that of all the duds Havelock has brought in. He has surpassed himself with Bukhave.
  20. The only opposing riders Bukhave has beaten are, in heat 6 of the home leg of the Tees/Tweed trophy. Bjerre team rode for a 5-1 over Seb Alden and Matty Wethers.
  21. Feel sorry for Worky fans that made the journey. 2nd year running they have suffered because of the inept Promotion at Redcar. Havelock and co, hang your heads in shame. Word of advice to any travelling fans, save your hard earned money and boycott the place.
  22. And still do. No dis-respect to Simon Nielsen, but Jonas Anderson is a better prospect. If the full entitlement of the points available is used. But the clueless Promotion bring in a Dane that no one has heard of. Another in the Konopka mould. Bukhave is at the vey best a 3.5 rider. The team assembled this year is even worse than the 2010 starting line up.
