You won't find anyone who rode for him, having a a bad word said against him, he backed his Riders 100%, the BSPA thought he was easy pickings, like most new Promoters, they treat them like a meal ticket. Trouble was, he was far, far smarter than them all put together, they called his bluff one to many times and lived to regret it. Always remember the night Tatum was trying to get the meeting called off, as it was pretty damp, after a couple of track inspections, and a big pit meeting, Sandhu walked in the pits, explained to everyone that if the meeting was called off, Speedway would end for good there and then, end of conversation, Kelvin sulked, Bees won and crowd loved it.

Very sad when you think of all the great Riders who have proudly worn the number 1 race jacket for the Diamonds. -
The Riders will get their basic money paid by the BSPL, the 'extras' won't get paid, it's happened so many times before, bigger fool the Riders for letting it carry on so long.

Always thought the P word in Speedway was Poole

Bling and a sign written van are the most important bits of kit., You are 100% right -
He knows how to play the system well, always stays one step ahead of controversy.

RIP British Speedway

But it won't be Buster laying in hospital, too many times Promoters think it's a safe track to ride on, and are sadly proved wrong, should be left to the senior riders and Clark of the Course, not the Promoter, definately not the referee, most don't have a clue about track conditions. You can always get another Rider, they're just a piece of meat, but you can't always get a pound in your back pocket. -
The BSPL don't have to abide by employment law, they simply don't offer a rider a team place anywhere, this has occoured many times in recent years to riders who were , lets say, off dubious character. ,

Surely that Clothing is bespoke, have never seen it in a Pencarrie catalogue.

Unfortunately it's a rule that all contracted riders know, break it and you know there will be consequences.

The best shale was Arbury shale from near Nuneaton, which was used on many tracks during the 70's to 90's, unfortunately they wanted paying for the stuff, which resulted in the supply being lost. same old story in speedway

Will BWD actually complete a season without getting injured?

Xylene was the best for softening, trouble was you ended up with melted rubber everywhere, some clever people made up a rotating bath that you could leave the tyre in for a few hours, so i have heard lol.

Please don't say they're banning the air horn tune as well

Didn't the flag originate from the General Lee on the Dukes of Hazzard

Let's not forget, it's the Promoter who's chasing the plastic trophies, that agrees to pay the Riders what they ask for, can you imagine what Tesco would say if you went and asked for £25 an hour to stack shelves! Everyone knows the Sport is on it's knees, but still the Promoters are agreeing to deals that will drive them further into debt, there is no answer, as there will always be at least one Promoter in every League who has big pockets and an ego to match.

As the old Abba song said, Money,Money,Money, plain and simple, perhaps the oil business ain't to good in Oz. Nobody can beat the ageing process, especially sportsmen, and you sure as hell don't bounce as well when you get older, but good luck to him, will still be a big scalp for the crazy kids to get.
