  1. 'Sparse Crowd' sounds like the EoES bug has struck, one beating by the Rockets and the support deserts the ship.
  2. Put it like this, he wouldn't be driving for Red Bull or Mercedes F1 looking like that.
  3. Sadly SCB, it confirms my point, maybe the sport should get Eddie The Eagle to look after the PR, worst performer we've ever had, but the most exposure, and still to this day, everyone knows who he is.
  4. Walk down any uk high street and ask who Tai is, and they won't have a clue, let's face it, in the Uk unless you read SS, nobody knows the sport exists, take away the diehards, and the lights have been turned off.
  5. Just stating a fact, not really into schoolyard humour.
  6. And only 1 point from RR, would have won by a lot more had Rye been at full strength. HaHaHaHa, 1 point from rr,
  7. All to do with the lead up to the GP, he has TV and Press commitments promoting the GP, and work for the NZ sponsors, Sport in the southern hemisphere attracts far more media attention than in the UK.
  8. Bunyan is always fast around the showground, strange it got re-arranged so he misses the meeting, but would have been available for the original date.
  9. Sounds like he's got enough equipment to kit out a whole Team.
  10. SGP 2013 rankings put him as the third best British born rider behind Woffindon and Harris.
  11. Or if they were riding in Scotland they'd want some 'Pay Pal'
  12. Just pop into Barclays Bank, you can get Visa no problem.
  13. You forgot to point out that MNZ, FIM and BSI all have to approve any nomination. Nice to point out the articulate and media savvy bit, something that is all too important in modern corporate based sport.
  14. Riders are accountable for what they post on social media sites, the BSPA and SCB make all riders fully aware of this, and that it is taken very seriously, hence very few instances coming to light recently.
  15. Three Cricket journalists covering the Ashes have been chucked out of Australia due to Visa problems including the Sun's main man.
  16. Would be nice to know what the 100k was used for, if the complex without Speedway is profitable, can't believe that was used to keep Speedway afloat, perhaps it was to pay the Chairman, nice little earner Rodney, as Del Boy would say.
  17. The majority of Track guys have had their budgets cut to virtually nothing, one hasn't had any new shale for over two years, and still manages to produce one of the best tracks in the PL. Perhaps they should all attend a track prep school at Ipswich, can't believe it's that easy to prepare a consistently great race surface, only trouble is, you're going to have problems on the normal crap tracks away from home.
  18. Without the rich, you couldn't have the poor, you'd just have a third world country.
  19. Vote of no confidence in chairman, file for bankruptcy, open new company next day, carry on trading, seems common practice nowadays.
  20. Could well have been in his long term plan, we will never know, but the Chairman certainly seems to be holding all the ace cards, which have been built up over recent years.
  21. IOW should never be in the NL, just needs someone to go in who knows how to run a decent operation, hang on, there's not many of them about now, Pratt Louis Silver, type person is what's needed, not a Manager who looses other peoples money. Interesting that the Chairman pours in 100k, but is getting paid!! Also, not sure how the Council will react if Speedway stops, as they were always very favourable when it comes to the complex being a good attraction on the Island, whereas it looks like it's becoming an Industrial estate, with taxi firms etc running from the place.
