  1. Ht 15 came about by the first choice, SB not being eligible, second choice AM getting changed, third choice JB, had been told he wasn't in it, although he was second highest scorer, then told to go off 15 mtrs, that's when the heated argument took place, enigma yes, fool no.
  2. The Team are far better than they are performing, looks like they've had enough this year already, one too many dodgy rain offs, and dodgy home tracks has taken it's toll, have hardly ever seen a team (using the term very loosely) look so fed up. It's a bit like having a decent greyhound, but only feeding it Tesco's own dog food, it's cheap but just doesn't work, look after it well and it'll perform, treat it badly and it'll crap all over you.
  3. Kick the top Riders out, one League, and pray it works, cos that's about all there is left to try, if it doesn't then can the last one out turn the lights off!!!
  4. Don't blame you, hopefully there will be a monsoon over Ipswich this afternoon.
  5. All depends how and when it's used, but with the strict testing and punishment on offer, would surely take a fool to use it!! Anyone know what the current punishment is for anyone caught using it.
  6. It's been tried, it's been tested, and that's the end of the story.
  7. Yep, sure does, but it's swept under the carpet, so as to avoid bad publicity, trouble is that the cheats do prosper, as they take earnings from genuine riders that they beat, would be a great deterant if they had to pay back all the points money that they cheated the opposition out off during the season they were caught cheating.
  8. And have to pay the riders for 15, 5-0's, not a very nice thought.
  9. Must be a case of bringing the sport into disrepute.
  10. Dear, oh dear, more likely to get sunstroke than wet. Panthers weakened, so what do Rye do, call it off early, cos it might rain.
  11. Will all the riders on show, have been paid? silly question
  12. Reckon Uncle len would want good hard cash, no IOU's or HP.
  13. Ha Ha ha, Bunyan was at the track at 5.30, don't think he'd be late for his beloved EOES, his other van being used by two young NZ riders arrived at around 7.30, but please feel free to show him the door if you want, his other van will be at Sheffield Thursday, sure you can read something into that.
  14. Feel sorry for the Fans and Promoters of the opposition, must dread the rockets fixtures, they do mega bucks on points money, and don't get a decent crowd to pay for it.
  15. Everyone in the stadium knows Bunyan was sacked as captain, after standing up to Len over the state of the track, obviously now out of favour with the management, just a matter of time before he moves away from Rye, can't see him staying where he's not wanted, especially as he's averaging around eight-ten points a meeting.
  16. Unfortunately the sponsors have deserted the Rockets as well.
  17. Never forget the bonus points, keeps the bank balance up, and the CMA down.
  18. Always rely on a Scotsman for a laugh, so Bunyan scores 18 points in his last two meetings, but still keeping his average down, clever Riders always keep an eye on the future.
  19. If the weather stays showery, and they can't touch the track, it should be the Meeting of the year.
  20. That's not quite correct, they're not actually rain offs, they're predicted rain offs, or convenient rain offs.
  21. Different captain, but the results are getting worse, didn't Rye win at Sheffield with Bunyan as Captain, totally wasted around the small Rye House track, he's always looked at home on the big fast Owlerton track.
  22. Doesn't have to rain in Rye to get the Meeting rained off, could only happen in Speedway.
