Wouldn't be too hard to get it up and running in the PL, especially with all the willing helpers still there, but and it's a big but, the threat of vandalism would be too big a risk to take.
-
So what have the Liquidators got to sell? The tea urn, anything else.
-
Is Bowden an option really, thought you needed a Promoters licence, or the remotest chance of getting one, but judging by the motley crew running the BSPA he's probably fully qualified to get a Licence. Must be a lot of amnesia going around the Plymouth area.
-
If they are the normal Speedway Club shares, they just keep printing them, as they find people willing to part with a few quid, if you want a thousand, they would probably print them off over the weekend.
-
Think the 4 valve is regulated, not sure about the 500cc though.

There appears to be two sides in this debate, the Riders view, who have all been ripped off repeatedly, and the outsider who has never experienced it. Someone also mentioned there was limited production available, let's hope the 100 approx EL & PL Riders don't all order one.

Mr Speedway Star really carries a torch for the engine, if they were as good as Fast Freddie says, why are Harris and Lambert not using them, if two top level Riders tried them, but don't use them, surely that says something. I have no hidden agenda, fortunately I no longer have a vested interest in Speedway, so I can now just speak as I find, and believe me with 25 years involvement I've seen just about everything, good and bad.

Speedway Riders - Employment Status?
Lord Skid replied to Little Thumper's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Once you sign the multi coloured proper contract, the Promoter owns you for as long as he wants to, that's a fact. And all the BSPA members abide by that, the first Rider to challenge that would not get a Team place in the UK. You are contracted yearly from March to October, but you are still owned 24/7 by your Parent club when your seasons contract ends. -
But nobody believes the claims, how are Harris and Lambert going with theirs?
-
Fact mate, not rubbish, don't think you read the "decent business brain" bit, not my fault some Riders can hardly spell their own name, let alone attract a major Sponsor, not just someone who buys them a tyre, and then think they own the Rider.
-
A PL number 1 with a decent business brain will clear 40k a season, without doubling up.

Sure do, turning the other cheek doesn't work, if in doubt give him a clout -
Glasgow Vs Somerset Cup Final 1st Leg 9th Oct

Never thought I'd see the day when Glasgow had to whine about an opposing Team being too intimidating, always thought they more than capable of looking after themselves, one of the least friendly tracks for the opposition, looks like it's all corporate up there now, with fancy sandwiches and no swearing allowed. -
Bit late in the day now to make a heartfelt plea. Take a gamble, £10 entry for Adults, kids free, that's what type of Sport it is, give it a go, it will work, trouble is, it should have been tried when they knew they were up the creak without a paddle, bit late to try and promote it, the day before the Meeting
-
Ban Dirt Deflectors, how many Meetings have they saved, as promised. How many hundreds of thousands of pounds have they cost Riders. They can't police big engines, carbs, dodgy fuel or drugs, so how do you expect them to detect Titanium?
-
So Freddie's wages are being cut accordingly by CVS, I take it? This enables Wolves to balance the books better, fair play, it works. If GTR are so bad at marketing, which I doubt, as he is one of the top, but most expensive Tuners on the Long track/Grass track scene throughout the World, and everyone in the Sport knows him, he doesn't need the engine marketing, his problem is that Riders don't believe the claims being made. Having just spoken to a PL/EL Rider, who has just ordered two Danish tuned GM's for 2017, he was just not willing to take the risk.
-
The oil system probably helps a little, but the major factor is the dust and crap sucked in through the air filter, which basically turns into grinding paste, added to the Blixt carb, which tends to flood the engine with neat fuel if not set up perfectly, there are too many variables to say how much an engine will cost to run. Interesting how someone asked why no real information about the running costs of the GTR was available, miraculously a couple of days later Freddie's been heard to say, by the SS that it's cost x amount of euro's, obviously this Forum is the place to get answers right from the horses mouth.
-
It was meant to be sarcastic, do people actually believe, you can buy an engine, run it all year, be competitive, and it doesn't cost a penny until next winters service, must have gone to the Briggo school of PR, don't believe anything a Tuner and his top Rider spout off. Might be nice to try a PJR cam in one, with a set of GM valve springs, then up the compression a bit, possibly put in a fancy German piston, it will happen, you just know it.
-
That's it then, all Speedways problems are solved, no brainer every Rider will be buying one for next year, as you only need one engine now, OK the engine is around £1500 dearer to buy, praise the Lord, now the Riders costs have drastically reduced, the Promoters can pay them a lot less, brilliant answer to Speedways problems.
-
Belt drives were tried a few years ago, if you manage to keep the shale out, and don't lay the bike down on the clutch side, they're ok, they need a good mechanic to keep them reliable.
-
That result probably cost Matt more money than he'll want to know, the Poole mob might have bottomless pockets, but when it comes to man management and tactical knowhow, Wolves did em up like a kipper.

Hans Back Riding In Poland Today☺
Lord Skid replied to Crazy robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Would have thought Hans would have taken a nice winter on his accident insurance, with such a serious injury and x rays to substantiate his claim, but he probably doesn't need the money, but again, he's never struck me as the sharpest knife in the drawer. -

He'll probably downgrade him to a 6 pointer.
