  1. Recently it's more than likely to be the Small Claims Court, or more than likely the Big Claims Court, but there's a big queue waiting to get sorted out.
  2. 3 lap races, and rolling starts, no revs or destroyed clutches.
  3. Warranty won't be worth the paper it's written on, escape clause will be dirt getting through the air filter, that will destroy any engine, if you saw the state of some Riders filters you would cry, mixed with methanol drawn into the engine, it's like grinding paste. My tip would be to buy the engine using a Credit card, at least you have some protection if it goes bang.
  4. Check out Gary Ball Racing, you'll find he's very competitive on prices.
  5. And unless you're vat registered, there's another 20% on top.
  6. Bit awkward getting two bikes on a plane though
  7. Think you've answered all the questions, let's hope the BSPA have got an eBay account, cos that's the only place people will buy them.
  8. Why is he daft? If he's riding for let's say Rye House and Sheffield, he can't use the same engine, he needs one rocket ship and one softer engine, can you buy different types of sealed engine.
  9. Can he take his BSPA funded GTR, to PJR and turn it into a rocket ship?
  10. So if a Rider buys a GTR through the BSPA, does he then have to accept a lower pay rate? As this is the only way that the Promoter can save money, thus helping cut costs and saving the Sport.
  11. In the end Sandhu will get his way, and good luck to the guy, just feel sorry for the fans of whichever Club Horton ends up at next.
  12. Haven't seen any Tuning shops up for sale yet in the UK, it's easier to buy a Speedway Club than a Tuning Shop.
  13. 360K!! They could have used that to pay the Riders who are still owed money by their own Members.
  14. No great shock, Speedway's had the last rights read, there are just not enough people who want to watch , whatever it is that the BSPA call Speedway. And don't think a fancy oil system and Rev limiter will solve any of the problems faced by the Sport.
  15. Unless you were a top Rider, you won't understand their way of thinking, why try and drag everyone down to the lowest level.?
  16. Hopefully Sandhu will get his pound of flesh, he was shafted by the BSPA, and hopefully he will get his own back, perhaps they tried to railroad the wrong person.
  17. The airfence used in Moto GP and BSB doesn't suffer from this problem, and their bikes are far heavier and hit the fence at twice the speed, and they are portable.
  18. What's the point of having an economical to run engine, it's all about how much your engine earns you, regarding Fast Freddie, he was on a development engine, which by it's name would have been stripped down, altered many times, so you can't use that as a yardstick. It's all hypothetical anyway, Riders are not going to throw 8-11k at an unknown, and risk their livelihood, they are already ordering their GM's for 2017.
  19. A complete and utter joke, who in their right mind is going to buy an over priced, non competitive engine, only the BSPA!!, Just stick to your GM's and win races, that's all Riders want. So you can buy one for £5,500 from a Dealer, or £3,900 from the BSPA with some cheap parts thrown in, or buy a good used GM for £1500 and make a profit.
  20. The logo means very little, Aldi, Tesco, Easyjet are not exactly design masterpieces, they just got the product right, even the most famous in Motorsport, F1 has no mention of the Sport, but we instantly recognise it. SGB stands for Speedway Good Bye, and the flashes on the logo are the supporters cars driving away from the Sport. PS. Anyone want some GTR engines cheap? Cash only, no vat, you couldn't make it up.
  21. Now I've bought my engine for an arm and a leg, at least we're all even, but Andre Avimof has just turned up with the same engine, but with his new Karger super ignition, with it',s fancy power curves, and a price tag to match, he's also got the latest mega fast Blixt carb, and also some dodgy fuel, I was half a lap behind, what do I do now Mr BSPA.
  22. Means nothing, the engine has to win races, nothing more, nothing less.
  23. If the name Horton is ever mentioned, it only ever means one thing, chaos and crisis, and somebody being shafted.
  24. Was there the night Tatum was riding, wanted the Meeting called off, as he was Captain of Lakeside, got the Ref down a couple of times, threw his toys out of the pram, Sandhu calmly says to the Ref, if you call it off, there will never be another lap raced on the track, Meeting resumed, Bees won.Sandhu genuinely loved the Bees, then the vultures shafted him and the rest is history.
  25. Sandhu's probably got a long memory, obviously the powers that be didn't realise what sort of guy they were playing with.
