That would make him 4.23 then? Leaving 6.03?
-
If and as long as our three heat leaders get around or above 10pts each, Lunna and Bewley would only need to get 10-12 pts between. With reserves needing around 6 as well.
-
Solid looking team indeed! Would Ayres and Bewley not get a British reduction as well!?
-
Another wee suggest for a team, based on yesterday's news and while we all try to get around the proposed regulations:- Lawson 8.17 Bewley 3.9 (with reduction?) Holder 7.16 Vissing 6.76 Summers 8.13 Sissis 3.79 Smith 2 Total - 39.91
-
Maybe in 2018........
-
Winter is always silly season and involves a lot of speculation/dreaming/wishing around the fantasy teams that people put together.
-
Going on current averages and rules this season:- Lawson 8.17 Lunna 4.86 Bach 7.32 Holder 7.16 Summers 8.13 Sissis 3.79 Smith 3 42.43
-
Wee suggestion of a team for next year:- R Worrall 8.33 Garcia 4.23 Summers 8.13 K Hansen 6.25 Lawson 8.17 Sissis 3.79 Ayres 3.56 (without reduction) Total 42.46 But guess we will all need to wait until AGM until we see points limit first!?

I was hoping, in my own opinion for what its worth, that it would improve the quality of the British riders and then increase the ‘pool’ of British riders available to clubs. This might reduce bringing the few foreign riders over that end up not doing very well and cutting the costs for the teams. And maybe a few fans would come back and support more local riders? But yeah, if there was a more sensible rule book that was more consistent and was for the longer term – instead of the annual tinkering as you put it, the leagues might get on better? As discussed at great lengths for years now, there is lots of problems and lots of suggestions – but it’ll be the powers of be that know best.

There should be final averages published within the next week....
-
This is why I asked regarding the 3 pointer rule that was implemented this year - what is going to happen to these riders next year? As I thought the whole point of the exercise was to help British riders and British Speedway progress in the right direction???
-
No sure if this has been asked before, of if it is in the terrific rule book somewhere - but what is the plan for 3 pointers next year? Will teams need to introduce another new 3 pointer? Or can they bring back their previous '3 pointer' on their reduced British Average (2.5%), in order to help their progression in the sport? Otherwise, what happens to them - as we all know its a numbers game over the winter for team building.

Glasgow V Edinburgh - League Cup 3pm, 3rd April

Your anagram order for Edinburgh is correct! Should be a cracking meeting - c'mon the Tigers!! -
I am positive that Stewart will be on top of things to ensure the team click from the off. But a wee bit of healthy competition will drive the guys on and as mentioned, Aaron (as potential captain) and Richard are great team guys too.
-
Anyone else fancy guessing the riding order, should be straight forward though due to having such a decent top four:- 1. Lawson 9.12 2. Lunna 4.5 3. Barker 7.56 4. Worrall 6.84 5. Summers 8.37 6. Garcia 3 7. Ayres 3 And could maybe swap Nikka and Richie round away from home, depending on opposition and their team order? Really excited about this year in terms of the team and the changes - hoping to get along to Ashfield at some point this year!
-
How about:- Lawson 9.12 Sarjeant 5 R Worrall 6.84 MPT 5.96 Aaron 8.37 Dimitri Berge 4.14 British Res 3 = 42.43

No thanks to the Fish, maybe a few seasons ago - but not now! And his average is wee bit too high - as our first two names for 2016 will surely be Richard and Aaron. As I suggested in my original post, I'd also like to see Kozza back, as will be a bargain on that average and hopefully add a couple of points on to it. And if there is too a similiar fast track system introduced for the Premier League, that would give us a base of :- 1. Richard 9.12 2. 3. 4. Kozza 5.87 5. Aaron 8.37 6. 7. Brit 3 Total 26.36 Leaves 16.14 Be interesting to see the combinations to make up the other three positions.
