  1. First guestimate of next year's team.. 1 Wright 7.68 (2.5% red) 2 Sargeant 4.09 (2.5% red) 3 Kerr 7 (2.5% red) 4 Starke 5.73 (2.5% red) 5 Summers 7.18 6 Greaves 3.99 (2.5% red) 7 Thomas 2.24 (2.5% red) 37.91 0.09
  2. Thank you! Just trying to do some digging, and work at the same time.
  3. Would this be correct? Craig Cook y (Buxton) Chris Harris ? Claus Vissing n/a Paul Starke y (Buxton) James Sargeant y (dudley) Nathan Greaves y (dudley) Jack Thomas y (kent)
  4. Thanks for the replies. I thought it was the later, as the AGM statement said - To support the progression of riders who have progressed through the National Development League, all riders will receive a 2.5% reduction in their average But I am just not sure who this would be applicable to.....
  5. Is it possible for anyone to confirm from the side that finished the season, who would be eligible for the 2.5% reduction? Would Kerr get a reduction on his 7.18? Thanks in advance :)
  6. As per Glasgow's fb page - Richard Lawson guests at no.1 and Carl Wilkinson at no.6
  7. This is only my best and very rough guestimate of the team with averages, based on the proposed change. Cook 10.4 ( 8pt PL ave x 1.3) Greaves 4.77 (taken from GS dated 04.07) Vissing 7.45 Starke 5.64 Harris 8.13 Sargeant 3.88 Thomas 2.31 Total is 42.58? Unless someone, or a few, could point out where I have went wrong!?
  8. No official update on Lewis Kerr and his unfortunate injury - as it sounds pretty serious and a season ender? And as mentioned on another thread, we have up to 7.52 for a replacement - if required?!
  9. If I am remembering correctly, and based on current averages, it will be Claus, Paul and James
  10. Aaawww, sorry - instead of being helpful, I've just confused matters instead! Thanks for letting me know. Should be a couple of interesting and entertaining meetings, and I just hope that the Tigers come out on top in both.
  11. From the Glasgow Tigers facebook page, teams are Ritchie, Lewis, Claus, Paul, Chris, Jack, James Nicholls, Perks, Wilson-Dean, Palm Toft, Ostergaard, Lambert, Bacon
  12. The guys were great, nice to see Ian Beattie on it as well with some good information. Long may they continue this season. And be interesting to see the Tigers Live straight after meetings.
  13. The riding order was revealed during Tigers Live, last night on Facebook, for Friday night - 1. Worrall 2. Kerr 3. Starke 4. Vissing 5. Harris 6. JPB 7. Sargeant Means that JPB will ride with Harris for a couple of races. And good middle order pairing of Paul and Claus. Can't wait for the new season ahead on the new track!
  14. I guess we can only wait and see who hits the 'track' running for the third heat leader role @ no.3. And yeah, I did think of Kerr at no. 2. But alot of scope for the middle order to increase their averages significantly.
  15. Since our team is complete, we are into the new year and the new track is taking shape - what are the thoughts on the riding order for the mighty Tigers?! My original thoughts were something along the lines of:- 1. Worrall 2. Starke 3. Vissing 4. Kerr 5. Harris 6. Sargeant 7. JPB But with such a strong middle order, do you swap round Starke and Kerr? Or does Claus start at 2? Tough, yet probably welcomed decisions ahead for both home and away!
  16. BSPA Website says - PREMIERSHIP and Championship leagues team points average increased to 42.5 with the Premiership permitted one rider of an average of 8.00 or more. Championship has no restrictions
  17. Hope that headache has passed, lol! I think it should be up to the BSPA to consider as much as possible and as many 'unknowns' as they can in order to solve your Algebra equation
  18. I usually enjoy mucking about on a spreadsheet to suggest various teams for next season. However, given how this season has ended after much pre-season promise - I can't make my mind up due to not knowing what the rules and regs will be for team building i.e. pts limit, race night, league format or do we need to retain the National League rider at 7. As has been mentioned a few times, is it a more a 'balanced side' required for next year - but that is much easier said that done!!!
  19. Glasgow Team, as per FB, is- Lawson r/r R Worrall Bewley Summers © Sarjeant (G) Smith
  20. Phil The Ace, on 22 Sept 2017 - 10:21 AM, said: It does seem quite petty though and a bit unprofessional, you would think they should just have shaken hands and got on with the job. From the outside looking in, and in my own humble opinion - it should have either have been sorted out that night back at Berwick, or a change / changes made to the team as soon as possible after the event/incident. The collective is more important than individuals. And as we have now painfully found out, it's not how you start the season - it's how you finish it!
  21. I work out that Scunny have 6.13 left? 1 Toft 7.09 2 Douglas 5.73 3 Auty 6.64 4 ?? 5 Kerr 6.82 6 Aarnio 4.98 7 Bailey 2.61 33.87 6.13 left But if there is more than one rider being let go, as already hinted in press release, it could be a lot more points to play with........
