I think you'll find our matches are scheduled to finish 1st Sept, so hardly b*ggering anything
-
Kings Lynn will win the cup final...then Buster will give up on the league.... looking pretty much a lost cause after Leicester won at Sheffield... too many points lost earlier in season... needs a minor miracle to make top 4 now
-
From 1st Aug, Ben Cook drops to reserve... possibly even worse than being at no. 5 Jan moves to no. 1

Any 'solution' is open to abuse... Imagine if lynn were on 35 points in 4th place and Belle Vue in 5th on 34 points... they would find excuses for not racing on any potential rerun dates... lynn get deducted 2pts, belle vue automatically finish 4th... If today had not been cancelled, belle vue could have turned up to race, refused to ride due to state of track...meeting postponed....and you get same issue..

We need Lawson to score more than 4 to help us win the match. Cook dropping to 6 is worse that his current position in the team. Maybe that will force a team change if your numbers are correct... Can't see this being anything other than a rain off....if the stocks were cancelled on Saturday you'd hope the track is in a better place to start with to give Buster a chance...

Kerr steamed inside Dan, didn't appear to be contact and there was still room for Dan to turn.. brave call from the ref, but I think the correct one Thought Rob had dropped a rare clanger as I'd have given Luke his 3rd ride in heat 13 to allow Nicolai in heat 14 and more chance of points. As it turns out, it all worked out in the end, nice to put one over the witches for a change... one happy lynn supporter! Good all round team effort. Makes you wonder what could have been with 2 unlucky home defeats earlier in the season and at least 2 if not 3 away matches where we could have won but for our usual injury curse - would have been well in the mix for the playoffs

Oh gawd....never rains.... Hope not to serious and he makes a speedy recovery

I was surprised Rob didn't do that - he is normally more on the ball and one of the best team managers in the league -

Like your positive attitude, but we rarely do anything half decent at Owlerton. Should be able to keep it closer than normal, but I still fear a 10+ point defeat. Prove me wrong Stars.... PLEASE! -
That's a cunning plan Baldric....

Assume Ben has a visa to live in the uk so needs to ride here as part of visa conditions.... if he's not riding here then does he have to go back to Australia so can't ride in Poland either? Different situation to Musielak...

Or a fit Ben Cook could have made a difference.... or Kildermand not got injured at the weekend. All 'if' 'buts' and 'maybes'. It's what happens on the day and over the last few seasons we've had more than our fair share of things not working out for reason or another. We won, we happy, on to the next one! 3 points behind Leicester... c'mon the stars...

Good win for the Stars. Doyle clearly not fit in his first 2 rides, gating and trying to ride smoothly round inside. Turned up to avoid 28 day ban so he can ride later in week in Poland? Ipswich seemed to crumble after he pulled out, or did it just give the stars a morale boost. Either way, it turned the match. Klindt and to a lesser degree Lawson looked really poor in first few rides then suddenly turn into match winners. Good debut for Jody, very promising. Nki was trying hard, but for whatever reason wasn't quite working for him tonight. Kvech and Bomber just brilliant... After PK pulled out I feared the worst so to end up with a good win was a massive bonus. After Emil, the only real Ippo rider to show much fight was Jenkins

King's Lynn v Ipswich KO Cup SF 1st leg 02/06/25

Sensible idea...could even extend to a second ride if RS is injured in first ride to make up their minimum 3 rides. British speedway though, so will never happen. Clearly Ashton wasn't in a good place from his Glasgow match last week. Should have put his hand up and sat out last nights meeting, allowing stars to get a replacement
