  1. So buster cares about the fans? By 9.15pm the track was clearly not rideable while this passing shower blew through. Even if it had stopped then, by the time buster had bladed and relaid it, it would have been at least 10pm. We'd have then got a poor track to muddle through til god knows what time. If it had been only 8pm thats not so bad, but should have called it 9.15pm
  2. I'm assuming with Lambert's injuries it was simply a case of resting Lambert so he could ride in the second meeting. That said, apart from one race win had looked poor all evening. It wouldn't have made a any difference to us if we had of got a 5-1. He did say on the mic that his king's Lynn bike was being serviced and was struggling on his other one.
  3. There isn't a curfew. No houses for miles. We just the will to live last week!
  4. With r/r for kh and BB any efforts to get this through quickly will be foiled by plenty of 2 on the trot delays. Hope there aren't too many other delays or it will finish in September
  5. Just coming to terms with Thursday night being the last time I'll see live speedway this year. Gets earlier and earlier every year. Might have to venture south of the border to watch play offs at ippo
  6. Nope. Paramedics and track staff seem to be aware but not us fans on terraces
  7. Jury is out for me on porsing, was blowing hot and cold before his injury. Should have pushed on and been more consistent by now. Would like THJ back as well. If it would fit would take the current team and simply swap porsing for Kerr or rose
  8. Think of the enjoyment you'd get watching KK again. I've heard he has improved a lot recently ;-)
  9. Agree there are rules and they shouldn't be broken, but these were exceptional circumstances a bit of common sense should have been used
  10. With both team managers in agreement you'd think the ref would see sense. I'm assuming the MPT fiasco is a direct result of Buster having to do everything with an ill team manager and a promoter who has left. Can't fault the Lynn riders for effort tonight, despite scoreline there was some good races in the first match. The wolves boys had their gating gloves on an knew had to team ride.
  11. Buster just providing a balanced view on Rosco's 'version' of events...
  12. So, BT sport announced the playoff finals are now first week of October. Does that mean 'semi finals' will be 18th and 25th. So cut off can be around 14th?
  13. What is it with BT Sport's love affair with Doyle? Nearly every interview seemed to be with him. Good and bad luck from both teams, but stars were very unlucky not to come away with a point.
  14. Definitely think this will be closer than a lot of people seem to think. Any news on whether Porsing will be riding - if not hope we can get a decent replacement (not Simon Lambert who is struggling since returning from injury)
  15. You would think not, but would cut down on travel expenses... Definitely a £17 sport last night
  16. If the double header goes ahead, can only assume a 7pm start and just one interval between the two matches, otherwise we'll be there til midnight!
  17. Didn't expect a 10 point win. Leicester certainly deserved a point for their efforts in a thoroughly entertaining match. Shame they didn't get it :-) Proper no.1 in Lambert tonight. In fact the team did well, even huckenbeck got amongst the points at the end. Only real weak link was the other Lambert who has looked very poor since his return from injury.
  18. Hoping the stars can get the win, but, Leicester seem to have a similar team with strength in depth, so gonna be a close one. If racing is as good as the oak tree arena on Monday I'll be happy.
  19. Surely if he is still suffering from concussion he shouldn't be riding for his and everyone's sake / safety?
  20. One would have had a reoccurrence of a wrist injury, even without falling :-) There was a one liner in Greg Hancock's interview in the Star recently where he said UK tracks don't suit modern bikes. That is so true, the NSS must be the only exception to that.
  21. We need to get the spirit back and fast with the team we have. They have the beating of most teams in the league and would be a good bet over two legs. But we are gonna need to cover holders rides adequately or it will be game over. Poole won't make the playoffs now but we need to keep our wits about us now rye house have signed kk... Our team need us behind them and we need them. Dodgy management / track or not.
  22. We'd need a cure for bad wind at king's Lynn as well....
  23. On the plus side Jorgensen looks an improvement on porsing. Other than his first ride and second when he dumped on his backside by fricke he looked a decent rider. Fast as well...
  24. Always thought some sort of sun screen would help. It's only as the sun started getting low that it becomes a problem. Nice big advertising hoarding not much higher than the score board ought to do the trick. Back to the result, if it's a gate and go track I fear a narrow defeat, otherwise we can hopefully grind out a win - just. Aces will definitely get at least a point out of it.
  25. Wolves are a very very strong team now and can't see anyone beating them over two legs as teams stand. Good win last night, but Wednesday against the Aces will be another tough test and we'll see if our early season poor form has been put to bed.
