  1. Woffy might wear a tin foil crash helmet, cos it's lighter
  2. I certainly wouldn't want to be forced to pay for a programme. Rarely buy them these days as I use an app. Petrol and entrance and drinks are enough for me. Not sure why programmes are sold separately - have them available at the box office then if you are paying by card you only pay once and don't have to worry about cash
  3. 6.9 was a typo (long day - thats my excuse)....corrected in my post, but if its 2.5% the bald one is right its 6.06
  4. according to green sheets - Harris finished 2024 on 6.22 - with his 5% reduction that's 5.909 I think (not sure if that rounds to 5.91 or 5.90) - gives us a little more wiggle room if he is indeed our no. 6
  5. Very enjoyable (as always). Rob was very good, and shows what a great team manager he is. Definitely made a huge difference this year. Look forward to more podcasts next season...
  6. Don't think most of the teams on here are far away. Klindt, Iversen and Kvech are pretty much nailed on I'd say. If we can get a decent no. 1 then Rowe could slot in at 6, if we can't then I think that unfortunately means we have to go strength in depth and get 6 pointer at reserve. That's really unlucky for Rowe as he has been one of our shining stars this season
  7. As our season has finished early yet again, maybe Buster should reintroduce the Pride Of The East in early October after the play offs have finished. Might get a good selection of riders and could even consider a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon to get a decent crowd before the long winter nights...
  8. And you don't have to have overtaking to be a good race. (Rowe riding a perfect line in heat 10 to beat masters) Close racing and not too strung out in most heats and a close scoreline throughout. Dunno what it looked like on TV, but trackside, was a great match to finish on.... although slower due to TV cameras and number of restarts
  9. Harris and Blodorn will have to ride better than their last appearances at the Norfolk Arena, otherwise it's gonna be a very long night, even more drawn out than the usual Eurosport shows.... One wonders if they have been chosen to ensure leicester pick up the full 5 points and win by more than 15 to finish top..... would have preferred Lawson to guest and Harris or Blodorn cover the vacant leicester no. 2 position. Its british speedway, so don't see why not - must be in the rules somewhere...
  10. I thought that was where the 2 minute clock had gone..
  11. Was definitely yet another good meeting. Heat 15 was excellent. Niels has to be in with a shout of rider of the season. I doubted his inclusion at the start of the season but he's been worth his weight in gold. Anders deserved another ride as well I thought. A top 5 next season of lawson, Basso, kvech, klindt and iversen would be a match for most teams. If Robert was available, not sure which one I'd swap out. Add on Anders on his 25% reduction, plus an RS, we'd be sorted..
  12. That looks pretty solid to me if it fits with points limit and would be a good way to go. More flexibility in terms replacements for injuries and the like. Would be shame to have to jettison Anders though...suspect Sheffield would snap him up after hearing stead talk about him
