That's a shame, he's been doing a decent job for us, but needs to put his own health first Now the negative... what really annoys me is Jordan announced this 24 hours ago and there is absolutely nothing on the Stars website or any mention in their social media. I know we don't have a meeting til Monday, but a few words wouldn't hurt and to hear what their plans might be for Monday (assuming Mulford unless they are still harbouring realistic play off hopes)....

I would imagine England's world cup match at stupid o'clock Monday would have meant some very tired people come Monday night affecting Stars attendance. Vintage stuff from Niels and good to see Nicolai score well, both badly missed in Stars colours this season. 5 heat winners in a fairly processional drawn out meeting was never going to be enough. That felt like a point won, not a point dropped in the end

Heat 15 Lee and Betts against PC and Mort .. now that would be decent race around the NSS

Be surprised if jody Scott fit for Thursday so expecting an outing for Jake Mulford. We'll need Fricke and Kvech firing plus the rest chipping in to get this close. You never know, we might get lucky like we did last season....

Absolutely... and the amount of water they chuck on the track every 4 heats in some if the gp's. would constitute a rain off in a league match

This call off does more plausible than the previous one. Problem is, we've had our fingers burnt too many times with wet tracks and Buster attempting to get raceable when we've been in the stadium...the riders, understandably (with today's bikes) just aren't interested.... similar to recent foxhall call off....

Being a stars fan, I'm getting used to early dodgy call offs..... Ipswich have announced teams and have Simon Lambert in place of bangs, so nothing to worry about there..... Can only assume in coming team change soon ?

With the low 37 point limit at start of season, most riders and teams will increase almost straight away. Does a different limit apply mid season, otherwise even a poorly performing team will be stuck with like for like changes..?

And those sulking Holders both gave up as they entered bend 3 for the last time🤣 Would have been even more funny if one of the stars boys had an engine failure as they wouldn't have been close enough to capitalise

Good to get the season underway today. Just a shame there is now a break before the season starts for real. Ought to put on a challenge match in the meantime... maybe get a Swedish or Polish team over... something a little different that will appeal to the fans
