Hi guys. Some time ago I built a lay down Westlake in a Land Speed racer. I had problems with the balance. It vibrated everything off the bench. I had the balance factor changed by the guy who built the crank. Unfortunately he is not with us anymore and need to check a Vincent Comet which has been payed down at 30* The Westlake was balanced to what a modern lay down engine is. What is a modern engine balance factor?? Thanks in advance. Bones

I have a load of Weslake parts-- mostly new I got tired of buying parts which turned up wrong(my fault for not knowing exactly what I have) some of the new parts-- gaskets valve guides main shafs main bearings big end pins- some stepped valve springs cylinder stud assemblies piston rings big end sleves There are lots more parts. I've got some parts which are marked PRATT, mainly gaskets but some small parts. I've been told it is a speedway engine but cannot find any info on it. Does anyone have any info on them or even heard of them? cheers Bones
