  1. Perhaps Mr. Pearson should tell Tai to either Interview politely and properly or - F..K OFF!!!!  Ooops - sorry.
  2. Personally I would say ignorance. Obviously he shows a distinct lack knowledge of the English Language.
  3. Crumbs. Thanks for that. A Sunderland 'Stars' Supporter.
  4. Do the Riders know of the Rule disallowing riding on the Centre Green? If the answer to that question is YES - then the Referee was correct. That is surely what Referees are there for - to administer the Rules. If Riders (or Reporters) don't like it then TOUGH. Them's the Rules folks. A bit like me with Double Points really.........
  5. Crikey!! Did folk have to take their breakfasts? It would be interesting to know if there were any longer Meetings.
  6. Personally all of this who is who doesn't bother me one jot. I really couldn't be bothered. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. -_-
  7. Why? What was this Pizza wearing?  Training Schools International Team Selection. Personal Matters. Tactical questions regarding Riding Order etc. There are four things he could possibly be "mugged off" about - and that's without really thinking about it. It isn't always everything to do with money. I don't know what Tai is mugged off about - I suspect, with respect, that you don't know either.
  8. Bet he's done a lot more for Charity than you my friend.
  9. "It could be YOOOOUUUUUUUUU"!! Quote: The National Lottery.
  10. I don't smoke either. I tried it for a while - then I got some sense. You are definitely right though - the effects are catastrophic.
  11. No - it isn't a RIGHT. It would be very nice if Tai did issue a Statement, but crucially he does not have to.
  12. That is the nub of the matter. Apart from that, whatever happened to privacy? If Tai asked for more than his share of monies - in a Team game I think he is wrong, as I said earlier. However at the end of the day what does it really matter. We are not entitled to know all of Tai's business. What he does and says is up to him. We all have things we would like to keep private and Tai is no different. All I have read on here is largely conjecture from folk who say - so and so said this, and so and so said that. I am not saying anyone is lying but I would rather wait until the full story emerges, If the story does not emerge, then I will keep an open mind, but if Tai wishes to keep this private then I respect that - it is his RIGHT to do so. It is also right that the BSPA keep their talks with Tai private too.
  13. NEWS UPDATE. Arsene Wenger to resign as Arsenal Association Football Club. He has resigned in order to take up a Post as Manager/Head Coach at Newcastle Speedway. When offered the position he was quoted as saying "I must get up there as soon as possible, so quickly indeed that they will think - my Arson fire". :D
  14. In the context in which I made the comment - I stand by it one hundred percent. I was paraphrasing Rhett Butler - a fictional character in 'Gone with the Wind'. I used the Quote to emphasise my point. Thank you for Posting this as requested. I Posted a light hearted comment - obviously I must be more careful with my Quotes in future.
  15. It may be a generational thing but I fail to understand why anyone would want to put that filthy stuff into their systems anyway.
  16. I would like you to quote where I said that, and on what subject please. You may be right - but I don't remember saying that, nor the context.
  17. IF, and I say IF that is the right reason for all of this then Tai, in my opinion, is wrong in this instance. The SWC Team were exactly that - a TEAM. Of course the money should have been shared out equally between all of the Riders. I am not totally convinced of the veracity of this though. Perhaps the whole story will become public knowledge eventually................
  18. I hope so too NJC71 - and I mean that in the nicest way. I am, genuinely, very impressed with you final sentence.
  19. I couldn't agree more. I have watched his performances from afar with great interest. I only hope that he can come back and, eventually get himself back to where he was before his accident. Get well soon Lewis.
  20. Midland Red - I have quoted my Post for you. Please read the highlighted part carefully. Yes - Tai could certainly live in the same company as those Riders you mention (below). That is only my opinion, I know, but I believe I am right about that. I watched all of those Riders that you mention back in the Seventies apart from Peter Craven who I (sadly) never saw ride. I discovered Speedway in 1964 - a year after his death. Very difficult to compare eras but all of these men, including Tai were great Riders. Very good Riders they were too - but crucially, in the pantheon of Speedway Riders - not great. You cannot compare any of those Riders I have highlighted with the true 'greats' of our Sport. Look at their records - and - then look at Tai's record. His TWO World Championships alone give him a right to be among Speedway's 'GREATS'. To say anything else is denying the obvious.
  21. No need to apologise Dandelion - just a bit of fun. :)
