Thank you for Posting this FH. British Speedway will miss PK, and so will I. Very best wishes to Peter in whatever he decides to do in the future - he deserves it.

My late Wife's favourite Rider. Peter is a wonderful example to all aspiring Speedway Riders - I loved watching him. As people have already said a true Gentleman in the truest sense of the word. I would like to congratulate wolfhound on an excellent first Post on the Thread. It says everything there is to say about PK. I concur with every word.

Is Michael Max still riding?

My Wife died just over 10 years ago. Thank you for that. You have to be a certain type of person to Post something like that. I always thought you were a bit thick - now you have proved it. Because they (Monster), presumably, would like someone who will bring credit and respectability to their brand, and show they were worthy of Sponsorship. Unless they would rather have a foul mouthed oik.

As an aside - sorry - but I heard today that Wimbledon A.F.C. had signed an Agreement to take over at Plough Lane. That will be the end of any hope of Speedway ever returning to one of the most historic of Tracks. :sad:

He sometimes comes over as trying to be a clever dick. In his case it doesn't work. I am a big fan of Tai Woffinden as a Speedway Rider. As regarding his language he lets both himself and his Sport down every time he does it on the public stage. I can only put that down to ignorance.

I can't disagree with that. But crucially it's demise has been caused directy by the Grand Prix Series. Those who can't see that must be blind. The Grand Prix has been the ruination of British Speedway - and no-one will convince me that I am wrong.

Perhaps Mr. Pearson should tell Tai to either Interview politely and properly or - F..K OFF!!!! :unsure: :rofl: Ooops - sorry.

Do the Riders know of the Rule disallowing riding on the Centre Green? If the answer to that question is YES - then the Referee was correct. That is surely what Referees are there for - to administer the Rules. If Riders (or Reporters) don't like it then TOUGH. Them's the Rules folks. A bit like me with Double Points really.........
