I cannot attend. Believe me - I would if I could. I only hope that there will be some Report on here, or on the Belle Vue Website to explain to us what is to happen with the Belle Vue Team. Who do YOU support? Apparently this could have been sorted out ages ago were it not for the BSPA, SCB etc.. according to folk on here. If that is true then the delay cannot be laid at Belle Vue's door. If that is right it would also be very, very wrong to penalise Belle Vue Speedway for the possible dilatory behaviour of others.

I totally agree with that. I used to enjoy the Second Halves - watching the youngsters progress from wobblers to getting in to the Team. I miss the Scurry too - the Second Halvers battling for a Reserve place in the Team - all good stuff. A sad loss in my opinion.

It's got nothing to do with youngsters - but just might improve Speedway for the Spectator.. You know - to try and drag the Sport out of the Doldrums. Then again - I'm probably wasting my time - there are some who seem happy for Speedway to remain there. I only brought it up because Doubling Up, Doubling Down and Double Points are at least partly responsible for Speedway's decline.

I might even come along and have a go.......... :shock:

There was indeed - that was pulled down years ago when they enlarged the Dog Track. The Main Stand is nowadays very plush - not like it was when you and I went. The seating upstairs was OK but you could never call it plush. IF it is true what you stated above (your second sentence) - then you have answered your own question. If it can't be pulled down until a new Stadium is in place, even if the new Stadium doesn't happen, at least you still have the old one.

The original builder of the Site was Madweb Design's Tim Allan.

Let's hope so wtg28. There are grounds for optimism with Neil Vatcher's youngsters in Training. I really hope that one or two of those can come through. We need more than that though to get rid of the dreadful 'hat trick': Double Up, Double Down and Double Points.

A shame that this Thread seems to have sunk in to petty squabbling. Personally - I am keeping my fingers crossed for Belle Vue.

I believe 'Dingle' Brown was one of those involved gustix. Hope this helps.
