  1. I felt the same way at Sunderland - TWICE. 1964 Closure. 1974 Closure.
  2. I totally agree with you. The bonus, for me, is that he rides for Belle Vue. Provided he avoids injuries I am already convinced that he will go far in the Sport. The very best of luck to him.
  3. No Ray. This one: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Iy%27s+over+song&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=y1L3WNLGHIvHXpvTk-gE
  4. We are all entitled to our opinions salty. In this case I think you are wrong. Sorry.
  5. For those of us interested in the History - there may well be a need salty. I think it would be great if the modern stuff had it's own Thread and us History buffs could enjoy ourselves reading about, to us, the good old days. I don't see a problem with that.
  6. That is why I believe that both are wrong. I lived with the Tactical Substitute for a long time but I cannot live with the Tactical Ride any longer. I find it infuriating.
  7. Yet another very interesting Topic gustix. I had never heard of this Board Track Racing. It's always great to learn things. Thanks for Posting this - I sincerely hope that it remains on Topic and doesn't drift off on to other things like some of these great Historical Threads have done in the past. Why they have - I don't know - but it ruins it for those of us interested in the actual History.
  8. A contrived/fiddled last Heat decider. What is sporting about that.
  9. Just looked at the Updates - and I see what you mean. As I have said many times now, the whole idea is a bloody fiddle. I will not attend until it is scrapped altogether. If it isn't - TOUGH!!! Speedway has lost a Customer. I bet I am not alone in this either.
  10. Now I could definitely live with that. Four Riders fighting for the points available - no added values - sounds great to me. Points actually scored on the Track giving you a proper Result - what's to not like. I'm not even sure I would call that contrivance actually..................................... Great idea mikebv.
  11. For once - from me a compliment. I bought 'The Big Issue' - no not that one - the big issue of 'Speedway Star' (April 1st 2017 Edition) and I am very pleased with it. My compliments to the Staff who put the Magazine together - an excellent job. Well Done.
  12. It was only someone trying to help me out. It was very kind of them. It isn't Trees fault that I live far too far from any National League Track. Had there been a Track somewhere much nearer I would have gone to watch. Thank you Trees.
  13. I sincerely hope that they stay that way. A bit of a rarity these days.
  14. Sounds great on paper. Unfortunately Speedway isn't raced on paper. What about Tracks inside Greyhound Tracks where there may be no room for expansion - or are those the one's you would close?
  15. Hopefully Garcia will do well. He knows the STMP anyway. Fingers crossed for him.
  16. I thought you were just supposed to hop on it and go.
  17. Dan Bewley has impressed me so far following reading his scores.
  18. Wey hey ls. We agree on something anyway.
  19. Yes - I did go actually. Since 1964. But having put up with the fiddles of the Tac Ride and the Tac Sub for so bloody long.. I have seen the light so as to speak. It really is that simple. If the Sport is upsetting and angering you - don't go. I ask you again - why should I pay good money in order to get upset and angry - seems daft to me. I promise you that is the sole reason I no longer attend - I know you don't agree with me and that is fine. I know why I don't go, and I have tried to explain it on this Forum a number of times. I am aware too that some don't believe me. That is their right. I can only Post in good faith my reasons for none attendance. What people choose to believe is up to them.
