  1. This is a great watch. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks very much for Posting it Phil.
  2. Sadly injuries ruin Seasons for lots of Teams. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the Sport, we can only live with it, and hope that any injuries are not too serious. Again, sadly, that isn't always the case.
  3. They look alright to me gustix. I don't really mind if they are there or not. They don't effect the Speedway one way or the other - so personally - not bothered.
  4. I'd rather wait until the end of the GP Series before making a comment like that. You may well be right - on the other hand - you may be very wrong. We shall see.
  5. Can all people involved with Coventry Speedway just get together and sort this all out in a civilised manner. Those involved are supposed to be Businessmen. They must realize that all the petty squabbling is helping nobody, and is in fact hindering a solution being found. I would love to see Coventry back in the fold next Season. The only way to do that is for those involved to talk to each other.
  6. Which might become disorderly in the rush to get one.
  7. That is his modus operandi Gavan - he knows little else.
  8. At least I can agree with that statement.
  9. Agreed - but how much would it cost to do that? Speedway seems to be cash strapped at the moment.
  10. If Woffinden is not one of the most successful of British Champions - I would be obliged if you could tell me who is?
  11. Graeme Smith former Sunderland, Canterbury and Reading Rider is very easy to talk to these days as is Dai Evans formerly Crewe and Peter Wrathall former Cradley, Long Eaton and Sunderland. George Barclay is another.
  12. How many other British GP Riders are there?
  13. You could try looking at his Birth Certificate speedibee. That proves he is British - he was born here. As Gavan says - he was brought up in Australia so it is only natural that he would have an affection for the place and the people.
  14. It is GREAT to have a British World Champion. If Tai feels he has to ditch British Speedway in order to further his ambitions of being World Champion the so be it. It is STILL great to have a British World Champion. Naturally it saddens me that he has left but if British Speedway had been on the same level of Poland or Sweden, both from a financial point of view and also from a competative point of view too - he might have stayed. If you are going to blame anyone blame British Speedway for the plight it is in. THAT is not Tai's fault.
  15. I 'Liked' your Post because I agree with nearly all of it. At least your suggestion would make it fairer. How would it work though? Would you still need to be a certain number of Points behind in order to use it? If you were in front - would you still be able to use it - if so - when? Or could both Team Managers use it at a time to suit themselves? I still believe that the best thing would be to scrap theTactical Ride (and Tactical Substitutes) altogether though.
  16. Great Post tigerowl. Especially your last sentence.
  17. There are many at Great Ormond Street Hospital who are extremely grateful to Tai for all of his efforts. I notice you don't mention any of the good things he does. I don't think it is him who is full of sh*t - but crucially - it could be YOU!!!
  18. Nothing - he's a ficticious Politician who is Leader of the Tooting Popular Front Party. "POWER TO THE PEOPLE"!!!! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075492/
