  1. Wasn't he going to marry Princess Margaret? :D
  2. But your Username indicates that you will always come back. :D Unlike me.
  3. I agree - tell them to - Go Ride a Bike!!!
  4. You don't have to tell me Terrace Grumbler - I already know that. Get rid - I'll be back.
  5. That's wor Barry. With apologies to the Geordies out there for use of their lingo by a Makem.
  6. As a Book lover - I cannot argue with you. I have a lot of Speedway Books, mostly yours, which as I said earlier, I keep. I also have a big collection of Books on World War One and the American Civil War which I will mostly keep. I will mourn the loss of Bookshops. I actually spend a lot of time in them, I always have.
  7. Great selection of Medals there iris.
  8. Now personally - 'I LIKE THAT' - Post I mean. Says it all for me.
  9. Newcastle followed procedure, the correct one presumably. BSPA back Peterborough. Was this yet another case of Speedway's stupid Rules, or was it a case of the BSPA bending those Rules to suit themselves?
  10. Why would he ride for the Hun? He is British - just like Tai.
  11. I'm afraid that, though I watch the GPs, I do not hold them in as high esteem as I did the old 'one off' World Final. I honestly do not believe that the Qualifying System is as good either. I bet Ivan Mauger and Barry Briggs would have loved to be 'selected' every year, The beauty of the old System was that everybody was in the mix.
  12. Says it all really. What about 2nd Division Riders? (Sorry - Championship)
  13. Isn't it largely so Sidney? Says me trying to be diplomatic for once.
  14. I like the Kangaroo as well. ............. and yes - even your Ludvig contributions. If we can disagree in a friendly way - that is OK by me.
  15. No - not at all. I enjoy your contributions.
  16. So did a lot of Teams. There was a wealth of talent to be found among the juniors and second halfers. Second Halves gone now more's the pity.
  17. I wouldn't have thought so Ray. Where was your Dad's business?
  18. Barry Wallace was the Announcer at Sunderland 1971 to 1974 as well as his long and meritorious career Announcing at Newcastle. Thinking about it - there can't be many around today who have served the Sport/Clubs as long as Barry.
  19. Didn't he ride for Boston 'Barracudas' and Kings Lynn 'Stars' - or am I thinking of someone else Sidney?
  20. I didn't say they would drop him. I just agreed with DiamondGlory's opinion.
