But if it isn't?????????????

Thanks for your reply. You are quite right in what you say. However - I believe that I am right in my opinion on this one - I just thought you may be interested in an alternative viewpoint. Ian.

I think you'll find that it can.

Personally I mourn the passing of the Open Meetings - the 'one off' World Final too. I really used to enjoy them - just another thing that has gone out of Speedway presumably for cost purposes. It's exactly the same with the 'Golden Helmet' and the 'Silver Sash', Second Halves too are a sad miss, also Four Team Tournaments. So many good things gone from Speedway. The Sport now is just a shadow of it's former self in this Country. People of my age (70s and older) certainly had the best that Speedway had to offer. I have absolutely no doubt about that................

Hate - is a very strong word. Do you not mean he just didn't like him very much?

You will never write a truer, more accurate sentence in your life. :approve:

At least there is some good News around.

Lewis Kerr is a decent Rider. He could just have had a bad night. It happens.

Personally I think that BT has done a pretty reasonable job so far. They are a professional Company and I am sure they will get better as they gain more experience of broadcasting Speedway. I am happy just to wach and see how things develop. At least we are on the Television, so let's just hope that this is the start of a long and happy relationship between BT and Speedway.

NO!!! Speedway.

Will you be commenting that his Four Valve Engines have virtually wrecked Speedway. Granted he didn't know that at the time, but ultimately that was the result.

Best Five Never To Have Raced League Speedway In Uk

That's only four norbold. -
I can only repeat that looking at the Track against Belle Vue on the Television it was nothing short of a disgrace. I can't see Supporters flooding back to Speedway if that is the best racing surface they can come up with.

Igor Plechanov - probably the best ever Rider not to have ridden in the British League.. Rune Holta Grigori Khlinovsky Victor Trofimov Valery Gordeev Honourable mention Aleksandr Pavlov. Edit: Must stop repeating myself. -
For me the best Speedway Programme I have ever seen is the Newcastle Magazine. I say Magazine because it is far more than just a Programme. If I was forced to criticise it in any way - it wouldn't fit my Programme Board. I could live with that though - because there was always great reading in the content. I haven't been to Newcastle for a couple of years now - I do hope they have kept up the quality and content.. 10/10 for me.

Sadly that is very true. We need to look after BT - there isn't anyone else - at least I don't think there is?

Barry Simpson is excellent at Redcar and has done a British Grand Prix too.

Presenters And Announcers

It must have been bad if you can't reproduce it on here for our delectation. -
Actually I can remember reading his Meeting Reports in Speedway Star back in the day.

I watched the Poole v. 'Aces' Meeting too. I totally agree with you about the Track - it looked dreadful - the Riders were bouncing around all over the place. Rough as hell. GREAT Result though. :approve:
