I wonder how Monster feel about it? Not a great advert for them is it? -

Why Not Work With The Poles?
The White Knight replied to IainB's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
That will probably mean the end of any of the top Riders coming here. Sad really. It certainly will not help British Speedway and it's standing in the World. -
So do I. I still live in hope. I know what it is like to lose my Track for Speedway.

Yes - but I think he meant that the Track conditions made it even more dangerous. (Holder that is). -

To be totally honest - I have some sympathy with that viewpoint. -

It states here he did: http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/10246251.Speedway_ace_Darcy_Ward_issues_apology_after_drink_and_drugs_arrest/?ref=rc or it did? PIRATES star Darcy Ward apologised to his fans, colleagues and employers after admitting: “I made a mistake.” Ward today issued a statement via speedway365.com after The Queensland Times reported that he had been convicted of fleeing police on a motorbike while under the influence of drink and drugs. Pirates ace Ward, 20, admitted a string of offences when he appeared in court in his native Australia, according to reports. The report claimed Ward had been drinking and smoking marijuana when police attempted to pull him over in his home town of Camira. He is alleged to have fled on an unregistered and uninsured motorbike but was later located by officers. He is reported to have been fined $5,500. Source: The Press Newspaper. 22nd February 2013 I'm sorry but when I checked the 'Link' on here it didn't work, so I tried it again, it worked and I copied and pasted the article wkha1. -

We already are squeezed from all sides. We have no choice but to accept it. -

Possibly so - but that would be a gamble. -

If you are the Tenant of the Stadium, to a certain extent you are at the mercy of the Landlord. If Speedway picks two days a week that will suit some Tracks they may find that those two days are impossible for other Tracks and vice versa. What I am saying is that the two night Plan may be very good in theory - but in practice it could, I repeat could, force certain Tracks out of business. Is that what you want? You have to admit that it is possible. -

Time To Crack Down On The Aussies?
The White Knight replied to Daniel Smith's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The answer to that is yes, in my opinion. Good grief!!! - you don't want to bring morals in to a discussion on Speedway. -
Errrrrm - it is certainly helping.

Buster Chapman - Is He Good For The Sport?

My preferred option is as RPNYC says 3 for a Win, 1 for a Draw and nothing for Losing. Straightforward and to the point. Dead easy and no reason for anyone to be confused. I think keeping things simple is the way to go, it is a simple Sport. Or it would be if the Rules weren't continually changed to suit one Track/Promoter or another. Speedway isn't big on credibility sadly. It is OK - but a little confusing to some. -
Why Not Work With The Poles?
The White Knight replied to IainB's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It would if said Tracks are in rented Stadia. They may only have the option of one night only. If it wasn't, then your solution is going to close down a Track. Do I take it that certain Tracks are expendable then? Because I think that that situation would be highly probable. I was just about to say you were wrong. Then I did the Math as the Americans would say. -
Current Assets For The Teams

How very true that is. Perhaps they should try tightening the Contracts up, so they are more Legally binding.
