EXACTLY - as I stated in an earlier Post on this Thread (see above). As Rob has pointed out Jerzy Sczakiel had some very good Results at International level - and before the usual suspects jump in - he had some very poor performances too. To me, though, that was very much part of Speedway. No way was Sczakiel a better Rider than Mauger - but - on that particular night - he triumphed. A win for the underdog a bit like Wimbledon beating Liverpool - the very unexpectedness of it was part of the delight. THAT surely is what Sport should be about - unless you want the 'same old, same old' as we get at present.

No it isn't - Woofinden is only in it because he is British (sort of) and to put 'Bums on Seats' at Cardiff - certainly not on ability and Results. How fair is that on other Riders who have out performed him???? I simply don't understand that anyone can argue, that someone getting in to the GP Series BECAUSE OF NATIONALITY and no other reason, is right. It certainly isn't in my book.

Instead of sniping at past Promoters who have now left the scene - let's just celebrate the fact that Speedway is back at the SBA next Season. I sincerely hope that the 'Devils' get a good Team to support - I, for one, will be looking for their results each week along with those of Redcar, Berwick and Belle Vue. I will, of course be supporting Newcastle at Brough Park each week. I do hope that the Plymouth faithful will, once again, make the Trip up.

You are giving me my point here SC. Obviously the financial returns from the GP series outweigh the Sporting necessity to find the TRUE World Champion. Who knows? Michel Jepsen Jensen could possibly have won the Title in 2013 - we will never know now. I am only using him as an example, but, as I say, he could possibly have won the whole thing - sadly I reckon there is absolutely no chance of Tai doing so. I wish there was.............................. Also, as I have said previously - it does not make it right. (the selection process).

As I said in my earlier Post - surely it is not beyond the whit of man to find a System that is fair to all. I, at least partly, agree with you about the old System for the 'one off' World Finals - but - 'two wrongs do not make a right'. I STILL don't believe that Woofinden should be in the GP Series - ther should be NO PLACE for TOKENS as you put it. As for Formula One - I am not really interested, nor do I care what happens in that Sport - I support Speedway - about that I DO care.

It would be very difficult to bring Speedway Star out as a 'Daily'. In these days of high technology, Internet etc. it is hardly surprising that you have already heard some of the News therein, though not ALL of it. I think you are being a trifle harsh there squall.
