Sorry - I don't see the point of your Post. We, at Newcastle, are NOT getting a sub standard product. We have been VERY unfortunate with injuries this year. Speedway Supporters appreciate this and the fact that the Team has to, on occasions, struggle on with a Rider short. Remember that with only six Riders in your Team that an injury during a Meeting will put you down to five Riders - then you really are in trouble. R/R isn't ideal but it works. There is nothing wrong with that.

You and I must be very similar gustix - I have never drank much, just the odd 'Single Malt'. I was a Forty a day man on the Fags and I too gave up in 1969. I have also, on occasion, been called the Victor Meldrew of this Forum. Scary eh??? :)

As I have said MANY times BW - I think they are BOTH false and should be done away with. I am aware that lots of others do not agree with me - but - talking to visiting and Home Supporters at Brough Park - a lot of folk do.

I was!! That is my problem with both Systems Tac Sub AND Double Points. Weak Team fights it's way in to a winning position and then Points are GIFTED to the stronger Team who go on to win the Meeting. ALL WRONG FOR ME!! BeWitcher did ask about the Seventies in an earlier Post orion.

You two are most DEFINITELY NOT alone in your hatred of the bloody stupid 'Joker'. It ruins the credibilty of our Sport and those who brought in the Rule have no conception of how it is viewed by the vast majority of REAL Speedway Supporters. CHEAP AND NASTY!!! :mad:

Well - Happiness used to be 40-38 plus a Second Half for a start. Yellow Helmet Colour (a very minor problem yes) but as I explained earlier - difficult to tell the difference between the Rider in White and the Rider in Yellow under lights and sometimes in daylight too. They should have left the Yellow/Black Colour alone. If they HAVE to have this Double Points Crap - then stick a Brown or Black Cover on them. BROWN would be the most appropriate - I think.

I do/did - but - you asked what spoils my enjoyment of Speedway BW, and I have told you. We don't need to go in to all this again - we will never agree on it. The Regulation makes me SO angry - I go to Speedway to be entertained NOT TO BE UPSET AND ANNOYED. I must be a right MUG - I pay good money to go to Speedway and get myself angry and upset. The Rule/Regulation ruins some Speedway Meetings for me. I cannot believe I am alone in this, and despite what some people say on here some Folk have stopped attending because of it. There ARE some weeks when I think that I will pack it in too, however, having Supported Speedway for almost Forty years I find it difficult to give it up. HOW SAD IS THAT? So there you are BW - I have answered YOUR question.
