I have read that too. It is a load of absolute bollux - Jack was never afraid of anyone - certainly not bloody Frank Aufrett. Frank attended one of our Sunderland Reunions - he didn't have a good thing to say about Jack then, even though Jack died in tragic circumstances - and obviously still carries a grudge. Very sad really.

If you read my Posts on this subject properly, you will see that I have never whinged about not having entered the Competition, I also stated that I would not want to go in for it anyway. I was complaining purely at the lack of advertising given to it. I was questioning the PR System at the BSPA - that is all. So it seems my intelligence remark was correct after all.
