  1. Mike is totally right in one and totally wrong in the other. I will leave it to you as to which is which, as I don't want to get wrong off ruffdiamond.
  2. Very sad. Coventry - it makes you wonder who is next. I still have hopes of a Coventry comeback and a new Swindon Stadium but I feel my hopes are being crushed at the moment. Why doesn't someone who knows what is happening in both cases let the mugs Supporters know just what is going on.
  3. Sorry to go off Topic. But there isn't at Sunderland Football Club sadly. We have the sucker.
  4. It hasn't over the last few years, why should it now? You mention common sense - well we can only wait and see. The evidence of History doesn't exactly encourage thoughts of a successful outcome - or common sense.
  5. Thanks Steve - I was merely pointing it out. As the end of Season nears, some Clubs are going to have a hell of a job fitting in all off their Fixtures, including Newcastle.
  6. Watch out Poole. Do these people have it in for Speedway?
  7. I can't see Newcastle v. Workington postponed last night?
  8. Would one of those problems be that the Contractor suddenly realised that it would be more lucrative to build Houses rather than a Stadium? or Lack of money. or Both.
  9. Irrelevant in my view. The Team that finishes top over the whole Season should be the Champions. Have another Competition by all means - I have no problem with that but you can't call the Winners the League Champions because, putting it simply, they aren't. However, as Lucifer Sam states, I'm a dinosaur, so what do I know apart from the fact that there were a lot more people attending Speedway before they had the 'Play Offs'. Maybe the unfairness of it does have an effect on Supporters - I don't know.
  10. Thank you for your intelligent and well considered reply.
  11. I sincerely hope you are wrong. But, I am very fearful that you could be right.
  12. Yes, we know and accept that fact - even the Track and Stadium has changed. I don't see how any of that effects the ability of Mark to Manage the Club though. Personally - I think he is doing a good job.
  13. That says it all for me Rob B. :approve:
  14. Mark is learning all the time. I think he is a great Team Manager. What Steve Park said is so very true - I think he will be good at that too. That is the impression I get on the Television anyway.
  15. I think Glyn Taylor is a great Trackman. The Track he built at Redcar was brilliant.
  16. Sadly this just gets more and more complicated. Good Luck to the 'Bees' Supporters, it must be awful with all this conjecture going on. Let's all hope that something positive will be heard soon.
  17. I have said that for years. Nice to know that somweone agrees with me.
