Whilst I agree with the main thrust of your argument - it has to be said that if one Rider is streets ahead in ability to the rest of his competition - wins by miles every time he races - then that IS a bit boring for the Spectator who enjoys good Racing.

This turns our League in to a complete JOKE!! Surely these Meetings will not count towards the Play Offs or for Points in the League. If you need Points pick the BOTTOM Team. If you need Money - pick your local rivals (the most likely). WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO DO TO SPEEDWAY!!! :sad:

Point one is an interesting one. What happens if a Reserve gets injured in his first Ride and is unable to compete any further in the Meeting. Will that mean that BOTH Reserve Races only have THREE Riders? (provided there is a rerun of the Heat in which he is injured). Obviously the second Reserve would have to cover all other Rides. Could be that Elite League Patrons could be getting even less for their money if this were to happen. This is a genuine question, as I would like to know the answer. Yes - as I have already been pulled up on this Forum over this - can someone please advise as to where, when or if the change of the name to British League has occurred. I have heard or read absolutely NOTHING of this. I DO HOPE IT'S RIGHT THOUGH!!!
