NO!! I would rather see the Heat Leaders Second Strings take their allotted Rides and if one of those were injured or off form the could be replaced by a Reserve. I thought that is what the word 'Reserve' meant. No Fiddling with Scores, Gate Positions, Double Points etc. Reserves used as replacements as and when required (doesn't matter how far ahead or behind the opposition are). THEN the Team Manager really DOES have to Manage his Team. We need to get rid of the Fiddling and the Time Wasting in Speedway.

Football Owners/Chairmen most definitely DO get stick from the Supporters. You need to look no further than the Club up the road from me in Sunderland to see that. Mike Ashley (Owner) is vilified in Newcastle.............................

No, it should not be abandoned. You have to decide which Team takes Gate One and Three/Two and Four in order to start the Meeting. After THAT there should be no Fiddling to try to contrive closer Results. Believe me - it IS Fiddling whether you like it or not.

Well I know a couple of Riders who DON'T make money out of Speedway but do it because they enjoy it and they like to entertain. It takes all sorts.

BUT we are still giving the WORST side an advantage. I'm sorry but that is as wrong as the other Fiddles going on in Speedway to keep the Meeting exciting. I would have thought the Sport was exciting enough to stand on it's own - Four Riders around One Track - it doesn't get any better than that. Why introduce unnecessary Fiddling?

I don't want any further changes to Speedway thank you. Far too many silly changes already.

Great idea regarding the 'Gardening' it's about time something was done about that, also something should be done about Riders returning to the Pits after a false Start. It just wastes time and makes the Meeting drag on. You suggestion regarding Tactical Rides seems a bit unnecessary as one would in all probability negate the second. The ONLY sensible way is to do away with Tactical Rides and Tactical Substitutes altogether.

No you did not - I agree. But you didn't give ANY other examples either. Did you? I would ideally see a List of the benefits that you see from their involvement. Perhaps you could expand your answer a little? You did say many.

An honest question Philip. Do you think that the involvement of BSI in Speedway has been of any REAL value to Speedway in this Country. If the answer is - yes - then how?

Spot on Dave. I still think it is a disgrace that the work was left for so long. Nothing to do with the Speedway I know - but really, a WHOLE Season with NO work done whatsoever - terrible. I don't suppose we (the Speedway) got a Rent Rebate for inconvenience?

Not easily angered RR - just fed up with the way Speedway Clubs seem to be hamstrung by the Authorities. How good would it be to put a few clips of Meetings on your own Website - it would be a great advertisement for your Club - but no, it's not allowed. No excuse now anyway regarding SKY - doesn't look as if they are going to renew their Contract with GSI anyway. So.................................. bring on the 'Clips'.
