I think the folk attacking this Poster are way out of line. What happened to criticise the Post - NOT the Poster. That aside I have had a similar charge laid against me when I stated that I had been talking to friends about the Double Point Rule and how ridiculous they thought it was. Again I received slurs on here about these ficticious 'friends' - sadly - I have to report that my conversations were true. I don't expect you to believe me because I don't follow the Party line on this. You may not like it but this sort of thing comes up all the time in conversations with folk who go to Speedway and those who don't. Unless, of course you only talk to those who do actually go. Finally - I would like to apologise to 'catseyes' - not everyone on this Forum is as arrogant as some of those who have attacked you on this Thread. Keep Posting. I am one of these 'Old Codgers'. I know absolutely nothing about Twitter or Facebook - I have a Facebook Account and I don't know how to work it. I don't really want changes to my Sport - but - I am sensible enough to realise that without some changes Speedway, as we know it will die. I have had over forty years of watching Speedway so some could say I have had my time - and they would be right. It is now time for the younger brigade to bring in their new ideas with New Technology and everything - I honestly believe (albeit reluctantly) that it is the only way that the Sport will survive. Hopefully the youngsters might even decide to get rid of Double Points. Thank you for your contribution Synikalle, you have some good ideas, it a great shame that nobody seems to be listening.

Everything else is going up in Price - so why not Speedway? At least it hasn't gone up as much as my Electricity and Gas Bill. :mad: Now THAT is a RIP OFF!!! Prices at the Gate seem fair enough to me. I know some will say that I am a Pensioner, and that I will benefit as a Concession, that would be true - but - I too paid full price until I qualified. It could have gone up more - so I for one - am happy. WELL DONE!! to the Promotion for keeping the Prices increase down as low as they reasonably could.

Very true Parsloes. I still cannot understand how Ainslie got in ahead of Woffinden though. I am not having a go at Sailing here, just at the System that allows someone who has done virtually nothing this year, to be in the running ahead of one of our few World Champions.
