  1. To be honest - I think you are probably right. :)
  2. I was going to Post something like that - on reflection I thought it too cruel - so I didn't.
  3. I think that all you critics will all have egg on your faces when this is built. It's almost as if you are wanting the Project to fail. Well I for one very much hope it succeeds, and I honestly believe it will - granted things are going slowly - that is the way of things where Councils are involved.
  4. Quite agree. Synchronised Swimming for goodness sake. It's OK in the Movies - ask Busby Berkeley. ............ can I really remember that?
  5. Archery is DEFINITELY A Sport. Where would we have been without Longbowmen at Agincourt, Crecy, Poitiers etc. We have a great tradition in Archery. You also have to be reasonably fit to play Golf if you are going to walk round eighteen holes. BW - it's just my opinion. I feel the same about Snooker, Pool etc. as I do about Darts. None of them are, shall we say, 'proper' Sports. Should you say they are Games - I would agree with you.
  6. You are living up to your name there 'Bellers'. I simply do not believe that. IF you are going to print LIES - then at least make them credible.
  7. Yes I do. I don't like Golf - not my scene - but it is definitely a Sport in my book.
  8. Thanks Abbott - Age you know. Sorry. I'll wait until tomorrow.
  9. I was hoping to find out today. Sure somebody said lunchtime Friday.
  10. He can't - you can't use the 'N' word - Politically incorrect.
  11. I take it to mean that the selected Broadcaster is happy. I could be wrong though................................................
  12. Ooops yes - I forgot about them. They DO seem to be FIT though - unlike Dart Players.
  13. Darts is a GAME - everyone knows that. It isn't a Sport. Sportsmen are supposed to FIT - not FAT.
  14. My - but you do go on. To quote Vic Reeves - " You wouldn't let it lie would you - you wouldn't let it lie".
  15. You are wrong there mate - I would not even have thought of Promoters writing to the BBC. It won't do any good anyway. But - well done to them for trying something.
  16. Patience my friend - it's Planning Permission that is holding things up I understand. Wheels in Councils grind exceeding slow.
  17. I was expecting your Post Angelcake. As soon as I Posted I thought someone will pick me up on this. I wonder who it will be? I checked back in the Thread - and sure enough you did. We will have to wait and see what George and his Team come up with for our Team next Season. Just seen your last Post Angelcake - where did this information come from please. Ooops - just seen the earlier Post about the Website.
  18. Problem is you can't ignore the truth. You say Gary Havelock was a Legend on Teeside - that is very true - he WAS a great Rider and deserved to be a Legend. He was a former World Champion for heavens sake - that alone should give him legendary status in his home town. But some of his performances in his last two Seasons were hardly glorious. I admire Gary as much as anyone but I can see the stage where his age caught up with him. Sad I know, but it happens to us all.
