Well I LIKE the historical stuff - it is part and parcel of our Sport and brings back Memories - to me anyway. :approve: What's so WRONG with that??? There is also a lack of real News in the Winter - or perhaps you would prefer a smaller Speedway Star?

I was the FIRST PERSON on this Forum to fill in the Questionaire Oldace and I DID treat it in good faith. I was making a general comment - that is all.

Let's hope the the 'Third Party' mentioned is sincere and that some agreement can be reached. We want more Tracks - not less.

Very harsh that Dave - we need to be encouraging folk NOT chasing them away. I sometimes think what you Posted could apply to me too. I have great difficulty with a lot of what is happening in my favourite Sport. Oddly enough, it was partly you who encouraged me to return to Brough next Season, perhaps unknowingly. (Your fault ). You told me, I remember, "forget all the rubbish around Speedway and concentrate on four Riders hurtling around the Track". This I am going to try to do.

It is an important topic - I agree. It also shows how unfair (I nearly said corrupt - but I can't prove it) things are in the SGP - they just pick who they like. I'm sorry but I hate dodgy practices - it seems, reading Max Dilger's contribution, that something very odd has gone on, very odd indeed. I apportion NO blame at all to Chris Harris for all of this. He is a professional Speedway Rider who took the chance offered to him. Which one of us would not have done the same? Good luck to him - I hope he does well.

This is what happens when you have a Selection System. BSI/FIM etc. are just putting in who they wish. It's the Grand Prix - but it ain't SPORT!! I wonder about that. There is very little that seems to go on in SGP that BSI/FIM don't seem to influence. You are closer to things than me - but - I still wonder??? I totally agree - but this is the way Speedway seems to be going at the moment. He's had some new 'Tats' since then - that must have done it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally - I don't agree with the way 'Bomber' got in BUT he cannot be criticised for taking an opportunity when it presented itself. The way he has been inserted in to the GP for next year is disgraceful. We should all get behind him and give him our BEST support. It can't be pleasant if he comes on this Forum and reads some of the comments on here. The Rider has done NOTHING wrong. The Administrators of our Sport - well - that is a totally different matter.
