You ARE allowed to comment - and so should you be.. A couple of disgraceful Posts Haza. Philip comes on this Forum and tries to help keep us up to date with what is happening in the Speedway World. He doesn't HAVE to do this, he does it to keep us informed - as best he can. He is not responsible for the delay in the TV Deal. Philip will have had information that the Deal will be announced and given a rough timescale - he then reports that to us. Deadline comes, and then goes with NO announcement again, NOT Philip's fault - he has given us the Information in good faith. I, for one, appreciate his efforts. I, myself, have criticised Philip on certain issues in the past. One thing I would never question though is his Honesty and his Integrity. Finally - I get Speedway Star now and again from the Supermarket - I am NOT a Subscriber - nor do I know Philip - I have never met him. Therefore I have NO axe to grind here. I do believe an APOLOGY would be very much in order though.

I admitted that a while ago HT. The lure of the Racing proved to be too much. I realise I am going to have to chill out over the bloody Tactical Ride - for Health reasons if nothing else. So - YES - I suppose you are going to have to put up with me again at Brough. I must stress (perhaps wrong word there) that I STILL feel exactly the same about all of the silly Rules that seem to bedevil our Sport. I will be there to watch the Racing - the rest (Rules) can go to hell. My last words - I hope - on the Tactical Ride unless commenting on a particular incident in a Meeting on here. Looking forward to seeing you my friend.

No they weren't AT fLODDEN fIELD. BUT crucially the Scottish Regiments have won one hell of a lot of Battles for the 'Island of the Mighty' since Culloden. Oh! and there were Scots fighting for 'Butcher' Cumberland at Culloden too. The British Empire would not have been so Great had it not been for it's Scottish Regiments. NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT!!!

If you cannot see my argument - there is absolutely no point in going on with this. I have tried my very BEST to explain why there is no CONTRADICTION. If you two wish to consider me a hypocrite - then fine - I can deal with that. I have explained that too BW - ultimately it is costing the Sport Spectators, whether it be one person,100, 1000 persons I don't know - BUT it IS costing. You may not wish to believe me - but THAT is how I see it. It is my opinion. Surely you can see that. If the new SKY Deal is FREE to Air as is rumoured then it will cost us through the Gate more if SKY are not putting any Cash in to it. (This all assumes that there IS a Deal)..

Don't be silly. I love Speedway and will watch it every chance I get. I am only against it for the good of the Sport. I love to see it on the Television - there is NO contradiction there. I am NOT against Speedway being on the Television per sé. I just do not think it is good for Speedway that it is broadcast. I hope this helps Please see my reply to The Abbott george.
