  1. I am genuinely sorry you feel that way hydrobob.
  2. Very well said blupanther. Anything that can be done to help Disabled folk get to Speedway if they wish should be done. "There but for the grace of God" springs to mind.
  3. I doubt he will understand what 'relevance' means anyway.
  4. Agreed - that is why I only purchased the first Issue.
  5. If you like BackTrack then I could also recommend Classic Speedway Magazine too. It covers the early years of Speedway up until the start of the BackTrack era. If you are looking for a Magazine that covers up to date Speedway - the only ones I know of are Speedway Star which you already get, and Inside Speedway the Magazine that has let you down. Oohhh for good old days of Speedway Express.
  6. Well said Martin - I agree - our Speedway 'lives' were definitely enriched by most of the Riders mentioned on this Thread. :approve: I always liked Reg Wilson though.
  7. You are right. If we didn't have the Riders we could 'hate', the Sport would have been a lot poorer and a lot less entertaining.
  8. Their Service should tell you something. If anyone treated me the way they have treated you then I'm afraid that they could shove their Magazine up their ar$e. I would not give them any more of my money - that's for certain. Just my view.
  9. Not sure about ALL Tracks - but - I'm sure some allow Disabled Entry as a Concession. Whatever the Concession Rate is at that Track.
  10. Mother - English, Father Australian, Born in the British Isles - that makes him British in my book. Pity he regarded himself as Australian.
  11. I never liked Frank Aufrett or Tony Childs - but their battles with Jack Millen were epic. Great days. :approve:
  12. I wasn't. Betting in Speedway as envisaged on here WILL bring further Corruption in to the Sport.
  13. Certainly it seems that the return of Speedway to Wimbledon is going to be VERY unlikely - but - never give up hope.
  14. Christer Lofqvist was one of my favourite First Division Riders back in the Seventies. What happened to Christer was truly tragic.
  15. I couldn't agree more. Well said josietoms. :approve: There is enough fiddling in the Sport as it is without introducing something that has corruption for our Sport written all over it.
  16. No Ray - none whatsoever. I am confident that sometime soon I will be trekking off to Manchester to watch Belle Vue in their new Stadium. :approve:
  17. Swindon - so I guess I am wrong. I am still certain that the National Stadium WILL be built though.
