  1. I wasn't a Carter Fan - and I STILL think the Referee was right.
  2. Anyone know if the 'Chat Room' will be open tonight on the 'Diamonds' Website? I've looked and can't see any reference to it. Knowing me - I'll be looking in the wrong place. Thank you.
  3. Thank you again for this. I don't know how you do it. You must spend ages looking through the TV Magazines. Well Done!!! :approve:
  4. I can testify to that. :approve: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :approve:
  5. CRIKEY!!! With the Username you picked - I thought you must be an 'old git' like me.
  6. Couldn't agree more. Wilko entertains and gives 100% effort - nobody can do better than that.
  7. I wish Peter Collins had been at his best in the '80's - he would have definitely been better that all of them. :approve: Discuss.
  8. GREAT idea that. I've just chucked out all of my soap. I hope I qualify.
  9. That's brilliant - I hope that ALL Tracks do the same. Congratulations to Rye House and Kent. :approve:
  10. That sounds about right to me Falcon Hammer. It sounds bad - but - it did no harm at all to attract the Crowds to Speedway. People were always wondering what 'Crazy' Jack would get up to next. Oh - and he once needed a Police Escort out of Peterborough. Ron Wilson the Promoter at Teeside used to always invite Jack to ride in Open Meetings - he reckoned that it was worth 500 on the Gate. Happy days. :approve:
  11. Keep Posting please Wilko. You insight is very interesting. For what it is worth - you would be in my Team on your average too.
  12. I know. It can be done though and THAT is what I was getting at.
  13. Does it really matter - they were BOTH National Leagues - so where is the problem. No Dates were stated in the original Post - and it IS interesting to read about the old stagers of our Sport. So come on - let's have a bit of fairness here.
  14. Sounds good to me. after all - America do it for the Boxing.
  15. I enjoyed the Meeting last night (apart from the cold). I agree that it took too long to run the Meeting - but - with injuries to fallen Riders you cannot be too careful I suppose. I would like to congratulate BOTH Teams - and particularly the Track Staff - I think they did a great job getting the Track in to a Raceable state. Times for most Races were not far off normal. Newcastle Riders all did well and well done to Lewis Kerr on his Paid Maximum - let's hope there are many more to come. For Redcar - I thought Lawson looked good when in front but the Rider who impressed me most was the one lots of Redcar Supporters seem to complain about - Carl Wilkinson. His never say die, 100% efforts were much appreciated as he contributed hugely to the entertainment on the Track.
  16. Join the Club. The main problem I have in my life is my memory.
