Tactical Substitutes Question?
The White Knight replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It might as well have been - it was a Mickey Mouse Rule. -

Indeed he has. I like the Announcer at Redcar too. I believe it is Keith McGhie. -

It was only brought in for SKY - certainly NOT for the good of the Sport. -

ONCE only sounds fine to me, if we have to have Tactical Substitutes at all. -
Tactical Substitutes Question?

You have to admit though - a winning Team is good for Business. I have no problem getting beaten at home by a better Team, where I do have a problem is losing due to contrived Rules to keep things close. Points should be scored on the Track - not fiddled. -
On the positive side - George has not said we won't be running. Looking forward to seeing you again too RD. Steve Worrall has signed for Scunthorpe.

Very good that Triple. H. -
I hope we can hang on to Robbo - for me he is a must. A GREAT Team man and a reliable middle order Points scorer.

Ward sadly can't ride, and Woffinden doesn't ride here anyway, so they should but out. Cook and Doyle will probably be OK at Belle Vue and Swindon - can't see what they are worried about to be honest. -
Fair enough Keith - that is your opinion. I respect that.. I had my principles and I stuck to them - I have no regrets about that.

Fact is a lot of people on here implied that I was lying about returning to Speedway if Double Points was ended, and, barring any Health problems I intend to. ROLL ON MARCH!!!!
-
That's not a bad Team. I think I would settle for something like that. .................. and yes RD even with LL.

Peter Collins Article

I think one Pass per Rider at his main Track of operation should be sufficient. I agree with you Tsunami - far too many freeloaders in Speedway. That was a major contributor to Sunderland closing in 1974. We were hardly a well supported Club and still loads of people got in for nothing. It boils my water even to this day. Freeloaders are a blight on Speedway. -

Any idea why not? -
Just watched the Video and I enjoyed it. Nigel put the points across clearly and concisely. Very good I thought.

Not if the figures in the above Post are anything to go by.

Copied from the Newcastle 'Diamonds' Thread: You can expect me to return to Brough Park next Season and hopefully Redcar now and again depending on Health and Weather.. Not every week but as often as I can. Whilst I am not thrilled about the Tac. Sub. Rule - I am delighted that the Double Points is consigned to the dustbin of history where it belongs. The BSPA have come part way to satisfying me with their decision on Double Points, and it would be churlish not to acknowledge that by changing my stance. Thanks are due to the BSPA for getting rid of the 'Joker'. I have hammered them with criticism over the years regarding the Tactical Ride Issue - I feel it is only right that I applaud them for their Decision to end it.- 262 replies

That is very good News to hear Dave. Now for the bad News - you can expect me to return to Brough Park next Season and hopefully Redcar now and again depending on Health and Weather.. Looking forward to the new Season now - look forward to meeting up Dave.
