  1. Perhaps you could give advice to KKB, KKS, HRF or whatever the idiot is calling himself at the minute.
  2. Spot on with that Moxey63. We also had George Barclay and his son Terry Barclay ride for us in the 'Seventies' too. Considering that there was only four years racing at Sunderland in the Seventies and only NINE Home Meetings in 1964 - I think that is quite an interesting stat.
  3. Perhaps he's flying - Manchester to Edinburgh shouldn't be too bad as long as he keeps a couple of Bikes at Edinburgh.
  4. I wonder who will be guesting for Scunthorpe to cover for the injured Anders Mellgren?
  5. If that is so - it concerns me. Riding Speedway is dangerous enough without wearing 'cheap' inefficient protection.
  6. I can't keep up with his/her changes of identity in my 'ignore' list.
  7. I don't see any problem 'adapting' they had NO choice years ago. Leather was the only material available for long enough.
  8. How much more CR*P do we have to put up with from this person.
  9. Steve Worrall has surprised me. I am really pleased for him. :approve:
  10. I honestly believe that Leathers are far safer than Kevlars.
  11. I believe the Collins Brothers in the Seventies once rode as a Team. I may be wrong - I am sure someone will confirm or deny. It was not a League Team though, my memory of this is very hazy.
  12. I sincerely hope that you are right Dave. Believe me - nobody wants that more than me. :)
  13. Ludvig Lindgren got a Paid Maximium tonight. I congratulate him on that - you can only beat what is put up against you. Sheffield were VERY poor opposition indeed. That was one of the most one sided Meetings I have ever attended. I suppose what I am saying is that we can't really make a judgement on Lindgren, or anyone else tonight. Granted he slaughtered the opposition - but - so did almost everyone else. To PROVE himself to me he needs to do this consistently against GOOD Teams and GOOD Riders. I STILL don't think he is a Number One - it is up to him to prove me and quite a few others wrong. I hope he does. We shall see...........................................
  14. I actually saw a Car complete with Bike Rack and Speedway Bike last week at Newcastle. I haven't seen anything like that for years. It didn't half take me back. :)
  15. Can't see Black and White ruffdiamond - don't WANT to see Red and White at the moment........................................ I don't have much chance - do I? I do like the Write Knight though. :approve:
  16. Sadly that is a fact of life. It is also why they need to get it done ASAP.
  17. Perhaps if you can find mine - you will let me know?
  18. Hi RPG - too far for me these days my friend. That problem was over with ages ago. Brian and I have a friendly natter at Brough Park when the 'Bears' come calling. I don't bear grudges any more - life is too short. Fortunately neither does Brian.
  19. Nor should you be...........................................................................................
  20. Not giving either of them much chance to learn are you?
  21. All these pages about a 15 year old KID who hasn't grown up yet.
  22. Not pedantic at all. This is a discussion Forum Dave. I just opened the discussion by saying that Lindgren is not good enough to be Number One. You may not like that but it is true whether you like it or not. When Averages allow - he should be at Three, Four or Five and Robson should be the Number One. I have been consistent in my view since around Christmas time.
