  1. I think that the Thread Title probably should have been 'Fans Helping Riders' or something like that. To be honest I find the word 'Begging' distasteful in this context.
  2. WOW!! It certainly does. Good Luck to Danny - can't wait to see him Race. It definitely won't do that ruff. Personally I would like to congratulate the Promotion on this bold move. Sadly, it seems, the Lambert part of the Plan doesn't seem to have come off, which is a pity. One thing you cannot say is that the Promotion have sat on their hands and done nothing. They saw that things were not going well early in the Season and set about putting that right, no complacency there at all. For this, I believe, they are to be commended. I would also like to thank both Christian and Anton for their efforts. They have both entertained me. It is a great shame when you have to lose Riders so I wish both of them well for their futures. Haaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy the 'Diamonds'.
  3. Well said Sir!!!! :approve: Good Luck Plymouth - except against the mighty 'Diamonds' of course.
  4. At least this looks more hopeful. Keeping my fingers crossed for the 'Cheetahs' Supporters.
  5. There are those who will wish to contribute - there are those who won't want to - the choice is their's. I don't think it is begging, more asking for help - there is a difference. I can understand Ryan Fisher wishes to be with his family - If folk wish to donate they should be entitled to do so. I do see where you are coming from - but I honestly think that in this case you are wrong. Basically, if any Rider asks for help you can either give or not - the decision is yours.
  6. I guess we will have to wait and see. Interesting times.
  7. Where is all of this information coming from - or - is it just a rumour? I can't find anything on the Newcastle Site or the Net in general.
  8. Yes - I thought about that before I Posted. For example what if Scotland were to produce another Bert Harkins, Jimmy MacMillan, Jimmy Tannock, the Beatons etc. But then I thought that currently there seem to be no real Scottish prospects around. So, in the light of that, I was prepared to put up with England. Better THAT than TeamGB - says it all really.
  9. I thought it was only me. TeamGB is a dreadful name, I can't remember how we got foisted off with that appalling abomination. It should be done away with forthwith. Great Britain would be my preference - but - England would do at a push. TeamGB should be thrown in to the dustbin of history. YUK!!!!!
  10. Well done - the first step is always admitting you..............................................................worked in that Bar. :)
  11. Erm............. Redcar????? SUPERB Track. All the best Ian

  13. True - A very good idea that. Eventually me might have a Team of which we could be proud. Riders would have to be persevered with though. It would be no good dropping someone after one or two failures. We might get clobbered a few times - but in the end I am sure something good would come of it.
  14. Great News for Adam. I am so pleased that he has got fixed up with a new Team. Good Luck Adam - I hope you do well. :approve: Great for that super bunch of Supporters in Plymouth too. Adam is great to watch.
  15. Lucifer Sam - I hadn't realised that you were just a lad.
