He offered to do it for Expenses only if I remember correctly. It was a while ago now - he made the offer in an after Dinner Speech. Actually, one of the best Speeches I have ever heard, and I've sat through a few in my time. Never had any Notes either - he was most impressive and approachable. Nice chap.

I agree with Star Lady. In a way this sad event has restored a little faith in Speedway for me. I think it is really great the way all of these Teams are coming together to honour Birmingham's Season Tickets. Credit is very much due to the Promoters for that.

Too right Steve - he would be a perfect fit. Also - he likes our Track which is obviously a big plus for him. Could we not sign him as a replacement for Schramm, re-declare the Team with Simon as our Rider? Obviously I would like Schramm to be fit soon - but - equally obviously, it appears, sadly, that this isn't going to be the case.

I thought those were Technical Terms.
