I'm sorry - I don't agree. A few years ago Coventry won the League so called 'Play Offs' despite finishing the League programme TWENTY SIX Points behind the actual Team that finished TOP over the Season. You explain to me how that can be justified - because I, as a Supporter just CANNOT see it. All this "they knew the Rules at the start of the Season" is just so much flannel, it also may be true - but crucially - it doesn't make it RIGHT!!!

Too right.

If you didn't have Play Offs - you wouldn't have all this stupid carry on with cut off dates etc. It means some Teams can Race 'X' number of Meetings, and others 'Y' number of Meetings only to lose out on the Play Offs because of the WEATHER. If there was a System where the leading Team in the League actually WON the League (as they should) most Teams would have ridden all their Meetings - there may be the odd Team that doesn't complete their Fixtures but no System is perfect. The Team that finishes TOP of the League is a damned sight fairer and more perfect than the comedy show we are treated to these days. WHAT A WAY TO DECIDE A LEAGUE!!! Edit: If your final statement is taken at face value - it is also a complete waste of time. WHAT is the point of having a League Championship in the first place?
