  1. No - I'm just passing an opinion, that is what the Forum is for - isn't it?. Not that I expect someone like you to understand that. At least, most of the time I can be civil with folk - even if I don't agree with them. Unlike your good self it would appear.
  2. OK - so I'm wrong. The current System isn't exactly dragging newcomers in to watch the Sport is it. On this issue I am ambivalent. I used to enjoy plaing around with figures. I can't be bothered these days. Just my view, that's all - not bothered one way or the other personally. Oh - for Pete's sake.  I thought this was a discussion Forum.
  3. I'm sorry you feel that way Gemini. Hopefully, we can agree to differ.
  4. Perhaps it is just the state things are with Coventry 'Bees' at the moment, that their Supporters don't like Poole Fans commenting on their demise. This, obviously, because of the intense rivalry between the two Clubs. I am not a Coventry Fan, but I know if I was, I would not be happy with some of your, and starman's contributions. I just don't think it is helpful. Sorry.
  5. Sticking out of the backs of their heads. :D
  6. For some Folk - Maths/Arithmatic is not their forté. I have a basic understanding of Maths, however, nowadays it bores me. I only need to use it to get through life, household accounts and things like that. I have read with a certain interest, the Posts on this Thread, and it is obvious to me that a few people on here are Statistic Fanatics. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but if Speedway wants to attract younger Supporters it needs to simplify the mathematics/statistics. That's my opinion anyway.
  7. I think that we can only wait and see. As I said earlier, nobody, including George, has said we are not running, and until somebody officially comes out and states that fact, I am happy to believe that we will run next Season.
  8. I think the answer tothe question of Contracts for Riders in Speedway, as in Football, is that that they are only valid as long as both Parties are in agreement. If one side or the other gets fed up or wants more money etc.. Contracts don't seem to matter a damn. An example of this in Football is a Player playing badly for his Club in order to engineer a move. That, in effect, is breaking your Contract. Not sure if that happens in Speedway , though I do have my suspicions.
  9. Averages - I don't think about them - I leave that to others who are more qualified.
  10. Like Individual Meetings - they are a big miss.
  11. Great idea - I sincerely hope something along those lines could happen. Another idea - years ago we used to have a Great Britain Touring Team that went to Australia and raced Test Matches there. Would there be a possibility, of something like this being resurrected to keep Supporters interested during the Winter.
  12. No - because as far as I am aware they haven't Officially joined the National League yet.
  13. Significant that 'Brandon Estates' refused to answer questions. The air is heavy with a smell of a Rat.
  14. I think everyone on this Forum knows my views on Double Points moxey63. Anyway - I'm happy now - I am returning to certain Speedway Tracks for Meetings again. I would not have done that had Double Points remained.
  15. It might as well have been - it was a Mickey Mouse Rule.
  16. Indeed he has. I like the Announcer at Redcar too. I believe it is Keith McGhie.
  17. It was only brought in for SKY - certainly NOT for the good of the Sport.
  18. ONCE only sounds fine to me, if we have to have Tactical Substitutes at all.
  19. You have to admit though - a winning Team is good for Business. I have no problem getting beaten at home by a better Team, where I do have a problem is losing due to contrived Rules to keep things close. Points should be scored on the Track - not fiddled.
  20. On the positive side - George has not said we won't be running. Looking forward to seeing you again too RD. Steve Worrall has signed for Scunthorpe.
