  1. Totally agree with that part of your Post. I wish they had gone down that route. I must be grateful for small mercies, that they saw the light over the Double Points issue.
  2. Well there will be no Richie Worrall riding for us next Season: http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.33621 He has signed on again for Glasgow. Steve Worrall is, of course riding for Scunthorpe.
  3. That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me today Dandelion. Is the Kangaroo on holiday again?
  4. Thanks RD. The nearest thing I come to Social Media is this Forum.
  5. Why not the Club Website? Genuine question. I'm not trying to be funny. Some of us do not do Twitter, Facebook etc..
  6. That isn't what I said Manse - as, I suspect, you well know. People in our situation do not need others, under the guise of well meaning comments, reminding us of what we already know.
  7. I hold exactly the same views as yourself steve. As most people will be aware from my previous Posts on this Thread.
  8. YOU DON'T NEED TO!!! I think most Newcastle Supporters a quite aware of what you say - but do not need to be reminded by a Poole Supporter. What is it with Poole Supporters? A couple of Poole Supporters are doing exactly the same thing on the Coventry Thread.
  9. Every word of that is true. We were told this a few years ago, in conversation with the same George Barclay.
  10. I guess you are right. I used to love the Four Team Tournament Competitions too.
  11. No - I'm just passing an opinion, that is what the Forum is for - isn't it?. Not that I expect someone like you to understand that. At least, most of the time I can be civil with folk - even if I don't agree with them. Unlike your good self it would appear.
  12. OK - so I'm wrong. The current System isn't exactly dragging newcomers in to watch the Sport is it. On this issue I am ambivalent. I used to enjoy plaing around with figures. I can't be bothered these days. Just my view, that's all - not bothered one way or the other personally. Oh - for Pete's sake.  I thought this was a discussion Forum.
  13. I'm sorry you feel that way Gemini. Hopefully, we can agree to differ.
  14. Perhaps it is just the state things are with Coventry 'Bees' at the moment, that their Supporters don't like Poole Fans commenting on their demise. This, obviously, because of the intense rivalry between the two Clubs. I am not a Coventry Fan, but I know if I was, I would not be happy with some of your, and starman's contributions. I just don't think it is helpful. Sorry.
  15. Sticking out of the backs of their heads. :D
  16. For some Folk - Maths/Arithmatic is not their forté. I have a basic understanding of Maths, however, nowadays it bores me. I only need to use it to get through life, household accounts and things like that. I have read with a certain interest, the Posts on this Thread, and it is obvious to me that a few people on here are Statistic Fanatics. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but if Speedway wants to attract younger Supporters it needs to simplify the mathematics/statistics. That's my opinion anyway.
  17. I think that we can only wait and see. As I said earlier, nobody, including George, has said we are not running, and until somebody officially comes out and states that fact, I am happy to believe that we will run next Season.
  18. I think the answer tothe question of Contracts for Riders in Speedway, as in Football, is that that they are only valid as long as both Parties are in agreement. If one side or the other gets fed up or wants more money etc.. Contracts don't seem to matter a damn. An example of this in Football is a Player playing badly for his Club in order to engineer a move. That, in effect, is breaking your Contract. Not sure if that happens in Speedway , though I do have my suspicions.
  19. Averages - I don't think about them - I leave that to others who are more qualified.
  20. Like Individual Meetings - they are a big miss.
