Well nigh impossible if your Speedway Track is in a Greyhound Stadium. Think of the Rent if the Promoter does not own the Stadium. Nice idea - but - a no goer.

The Track used to be great in the early days. It is sad reading how things seem to have deteriorated of late.

I am very saddened by this news. I have admired Richie Benaud since I first started watching and appreciating Cricket on the Television. As a very successful Australian Captain it was amazing to me how he became so loved and admired here in England, a place where he had success for Australia. Most Australian Cricket Captains are hardly known as lovable characters in this Country, but Benaud transcended that, he became an icon in the Cricket world. He was an honest Commentator with a great way with words - he could be very economical with his words too - unlike too many of today's Commentators who seem to spend a lot of time talking about irrelevancies. Once again I sadly have to reflect that yet another part of my youth has gone and, to me anyway, will be sadly missed. "Stumps". R.I.P. + Richie Benaud - you were a good'un.

Good win for the 'Diamonds' tonight. I don't know what your problem is at Newcastle. Until recently, last Season, I attended most Meetings and enjoyed them all. Apart from the reason I don't go now - Double Points. I was always very well treated there.

I knew nothing about this Ban. Speedway Promoters should think a thousand shames of themselves. A platform for some good publicity to showcase the Sport - and a public Service to their Supporters - and they BAN the BBC. Talk about cutting your own throat. Well if his managers have got any sense at all - they will have advised him against making any Statement at all. The last thing he needs to do is inflame the situation further. Ward should concentrate on what he does best - riding a Speedway Bike. After that he should do something that I would imagine will be quite hard for him - avoid controversy.
