  1. 'ere - watch it!!! You are talking about one of my favourite Sports there. :)
  2. This statement seems very relevant to me - I know the feeling.
  3. THAT is not the same as watching the Professionals riding. Junior Races helped the youngsters develop in Racing, sometimes against better Riders, who helped them improve. If they went back to the Thirteen Heat Formula plus Second Halves - you would see more Races - not less. That is self evident.
  4. It doesn't matter if nobody watched BW - the Second Half was the basic breeding ground for new young British talent. No Second Halves now - very little British talent coming through. Do you not see a certain correlation there, a connection? So there you are - I am right after all BW. It would be nice if you just acknowledged the fact. I know you won't though....................................................
  5. The Thirteen Heat Formula worked well for years. Then they changed it - and we lost our Second Halves. They changed it and we lost TWO Races. (If I remember correctly there were 4 Races in the Second Half). TWO Races added in the Fifteen Heat Formula and FOUR Heats dropped from the Second Halves equals a deficit of TWO Heats of Racing. As you say - MARVELLOUS!!! Oh, and British Speedway went in to decline didn't it - because there were no Second Halves for the youngsters to get in some meaningful Racing Practice. The decline in youngsters riding Speedway is due, at least in part, to the dropping of the Second Halves. Old argument - yes it is. That doesn't change the fact that it is correct though - does it? As you say MARVELLOUS!!!
  6. Aaahhhh orion dear boy. I forgot - you never make a mistake do you? Nice try though.
  7. I very much doubt it SCB. Happiness is 40-38.
  8. Nothing in my World is 100% right 100% of the time. It is though, most of the time. Mainly because I try to organize things so that they do go the way I want them to. If I muck up - which I do on occasions - I put it right and I don't make the same mistake again. Would that the same could be said about the Warsaw GP. I have said all along that BSI were not good for Speedway in general, and as far as I am concerned Warsaw proved me right.
  9. Let's just hope for an injury free Meeting. Nice to see 'Robbo' back too.
  10. No you didn't dream it SL. I'm certain I heard something similar. Hope that you are feeling better now. :)
  11. It is very sad to read all of this about the Track. I can remember when Redcar was a brilliant Track.
  12. Do you not want us to win ANYTHING? I don't think he should ride for that bloody awful TeamGB - I do however think that he should ride for Great Britain.
  13. Mmmmm - I can remember a Meeting that got to Heat 10 at Belle Vue. That was also worse conditions than Warsaw......................... Now that was a corker wasn't it - - -NOT!!!
  14. HaHa!!! You really are incorrigible.
  15. Olsen has not produced that many good Tracks....................................... As is a lot of the reaction on here. I really do hope we find out the real details for the cancellation of this Event. I don't want to upset BW so I will say yes - it could have been Rider power - but - it could be other things as well. I really hope that Speedway Star does an in depth investigation as to what went on. Search for the actual truth. Well - I can always hope......................................... This lot really are the pits. They should be got out of Speedway forthwith. It has never been the same since they came on board.
  16. I had my own view before reading Pob's Post - he just reinforced my opinion. If that is OK with you of course Oldace. :)
  17. Me neither. ESPECIALLY after what you have just Posted. Thanks for that. :)
