  1. Perhaps Temporary Tracks should be abandoned altogether - for the sake of Speedway.
  2. Over to you Tony..................................................
  3. If that is the case - how do they cock up these Temporary Tracks so often. Perhaps the troubles in the Warsaw GPs was a result of a combination of things - like dangerous Temporary Tracks in general - not just the dangerous one in Warsaw. You can only complain so often - if nobody is taking any notice of you then you have to resort to action in order to get something done. Speculation on my part, I agree, but I offer it as another possible scenario.
  4. The only problem with that is: In some Meetings - there aren't any.
  5. I agree with you on this Drac. :approve:
  6. Are you telling me that BSI has absolutely no responsibility for this farce? If you are, I cannot agree with you. Consider this - the Riders would not have pulled out for no reason. It will cost them a lot of money. Perhaps they are just sick and tired of the way things are run in Speedway GPs these days. I suspect that there is much more to this than meets the eye. I am not saying the Riders were not to blame, I am only asking why you think that the Riders actions were felt by said Riders, to be necessary? Before anyone mentions the Green Light issue - I find it hard to believe that Riders would walk out of a GP for being asked to do something that is catered for within the Rules and Regulations of Speedway itself. I think we may have a deeper problem here - I doubt we will find out what it is though. I await the next GP with interest.
  7. I have no problem with that my friend. We are all entitled to our opinions. :)
  8. We've had Vic White, Geoff Bouchard and Peter Wrathall at our Sunderland Reunions. Happy days. Anyone remember the Bass brothers?
  9. I love that - you certainly made me laugh.. I'm surprised that Sheldon Cooper hasn't come up with a Plan to fix that Lift.
  10. Aaahhhhh - there's the rub. Will he have to Qualify for 2016 - or - will he be given a Permanent Wild Card for 2015. If that happens it will be an absolute disgrace. Who makes the decision? Anybody know? Because if it is that paragon of Speedway organization BSI - I'm pretty sure I know what the answer will be. Ze pheaun????? Do you think he is capable of composing an apology like that? Personally - I have my doubts.
  11. Well said PW. So do I. It is very rare these days when something good happens in British Speedway. We should ALL be celebrating this - I think it is marvelous and I genuinely hope that it is really successful. My adopted Team too - since I was about SIX. 'ACES' through and through - that's me.
  12. i would have thought that SKY would want to be involved in what will be a big showcase Event. It isn't every day that Speedway opens a new National Speedway Arena.
  13. Hey Humphrey - I 'Liked' a couple of your Posts today. :approve: Cut it out............................... :D
  14. That's the trouble with these mysterious Fires. You never know where they will spring up next. .................... or do you? Someone might.
  15. I hope Phil reads this. You are dead right. Some investigative journalism would be a positive advantage to Supporters finding out what exactly went wrong in Warsaw. Regarding this Meeting of top people from BSI, FIM and PZM - will their findings be made public? They bloody well ought to be - all of those Supporters who paid a lot of money to get to Warsaw deserve no less.
  16. Back on Track - you are right. Back in the GPs as a permanent, or any kind of Wild Card - I certainly hope not. :nono: 2016 is quite early enough for that.
  17. I too mourn the passing of Long Eaton Speedway.
