A bit cynical that Humphrey. Philip is trying to communicate an answer to a question he was asked. He has given, what seems to me, a very logical and fair assessment of where his Magazine is standing on Costs, Circulation etc.
He should be given credit for that.
You know me - I am VERY anti the GPs - but - I do also believe in fairness.
I've always admired PK. I was well chuffed when he rode for Belle Vue. He still rides very well and is a tremendous example to young Riders on how to conduct yourself in public.
My wife used to love his Swedish/Midland accent as well.
He is a true 'Star' of Speedway.
Well - it certainly needs something.
Wouldn't it be great though if all those mentioned could all do one more Meeting.
Aahhhhh!!! Dreams and Memories.
He was a smashing Rider (actually my fayourite). Actually he is a smashing bloke as well.

Just scroll down - Team Photo - Graeme is in the white leathers on the Bike.
A great Rider to watch CHR. He had a very relaxed style, looked like he was riding an armchair at times. He was nicknamed 'The White Knight' because of his white leathers.
The reason I have it as my Username on this Forum.
Whilst I agree with you in your comments, I would also like to point out that his Polish Team Supporters would feel exactly the same had the dreadful accident happened in this Country at Kings Lynn.
There is a subtle difference between Dishonesty and Fraud (FIFA) to a certain incompetence (BSPA).
Plus - I don't think Speedway is big enough to worry about.
I wish it were.
But surely that is the crux of the issue.
Speedway is supposed to be an Entertainment, so if the Premier League is more entertaining, then that is surely the place to be.
Personally I would rather see a decent Race than a World 'Star' beating a Premier League Rider by a half a Lap in the Elite League.
Just my opinion.
