You may be right - but - we are where we are. Speedway is dying now - no matter whose fault it is. Surely Speedway should benefit in some way from the Sports premier/Showcase Event. Or - are you saying I am wrong. Who?

That is very true iris123 - but - if BSI wish to run their GP Series as a truly International Event then surely they need to contribute to the development of Riders of all Nationalities not just British Riders.. They (BSI) are making a lot of money off the backs of these Riders, surely it is down to them to help to ensure a continuous flow of said Riders into the GP ranks. I am not saying that BSI should not make a Profit - of course they should - what I am saying is they should be investing in the future of Speedway to ensure that their Event continues to grow and improve.

As usual.. A hard man was Tony. I remember him and Jack Millen coming together at Sunderland a couple of times. If my memory serves me right. We certainly do................................... I got hit by a hard hit Cricket Ball once................. I still wince when I think about it. That was fifty five years ago now.

As said by Fromafar you are spot on with your comments. The thing is the Sport is losing it's credibility. People(Supporters) are losing their faith in the Sport. If that really gets a grip - Speedway is finished in this Country.

Probably a blessing that they did not cover the Warsaw GP either..................

I don't agree. Thank you for your reply. Doesn't really answer my question though - does it? I think we may have to agree to differ on this. I still hold my views on BSI, and self evidently, you hold yours.

I just don't accept that. Sorry. May I ask why you are so defensive of BSI Philip? I am not being nasty or anything, but I am curious to know. Please believe me when I say that this is a genuine question.

You may well be right. All the more reason for BSI to contribute for the good of Speedway. British Speedway needs all the help it can get at present, the Sport is dying. BSI are creaming off the top talent from our Tracks for their own benefit without a thought of the consequences of their actions. If there were no GPs it is difficult to imagine that Riders, Foreign or otherwise, would be giving Speedway in this Country a miss. Therefore as a direct consequence of the GPs - British Speedway is affected. To me, anyway, BSI should contribute financially to help alleviate the problem that they themselves are helping to perpetuate. They won't, of course, why should they? They are getting, it seems to me, Speedway for virtually nothing.
