  1. Which is more or less my point. Because they may not have a Track to Race on.............................
  2. Oh! I don't know. Ed Miliband hasn't done so bad at letting people down, neither has Nick Clegg. (Ask the Students). :nono:
  3. What do you mean - weakening the Elite League. Has the Elite League itself not done that already, by employing National League Riders as a penny pinching measure. Add in the Premier League 'Double Uppers' and there is not much Elite left in the Elite League.
  4. Let's hope that it is back to something like it used to be six or seven years ago.
  5. Well - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Redcar.
  6. Not quite though.......................................
  7. Did I hear there was a curfew at Sittingbourne? Must learn to spell.
  8. What the Premier League is not doing is charging Supporters Premier League Prices to watch National League Racing in some Heats. I never mentioned the Premier League in my Post. This is the trouble - I didn't want this to become an inter League discussion - but - some people won't have it any other way.
  9. Not all of them SCB. It's just that the Elite League is supposed to be the 'showcase' League of Speedway. Crowds are dropping alarmingly in Speedway at present ergo the 'showcase' League isn't doing a very good job is it? I am certainly not blaming the Elite League for everything - but things like tracking National League Riders in a number of Races doesn't exactly increase the quality of the League now does it? All credit to those young Riders who are doing their best to prop up the 'Top' League along with those from the Premier League 'Doubling up'. It seems to me that the Elite League is watering down it's Product. To me this is undeniable as is evidenced by the number of Top Riders giving the League a miss. The League can't even hold on to our best prospect for winning the World Championship for heavens sake. What does that tell you about the 'showcase' League? ............. or even Glasgow and Edinburgh.
  10. Remember what happened last Season when everyone called for changes. :nono: Be careful what you wish for. I thought that after Heat 4 tonight that we had had it. I have never been so delighted to be wrong. WELL DONE to the 'Diamonds' tonight.
  11. A lot of merit in what you are saying Mike. Glasgow do not want to go up in to the Elite League - it has almost been the ruination of some of those Clubs who have tried it.
  12. By all the good publicity that goes with being World Champion. Last time he won, he was never off the Television being a great Ambassador for British Speedway. I have no doubt that if he wins again he will do the same. He was also mentioned on the Sports Personality of the Year Awards - only a few seconds but that kind of publicity is great for Speedway. I hope that explains, at least partly, why Tai Woffendin must ride for Great Britain.
  13. Absolutely love the Smiley. I wish I was technically minded - how do you do that?
  14. Look - if you want British Speedway to find it's way out of the mire it is in - then Tai Woffinden simply has to ride for Great Britain to, at least, keep the Flag flying. Do you have no ambition at all for our National Speedway at all. No amount of 'lol's that you put at the end of your Posts make them the least bit funny. If Tai can be World Champion again - British Speedway benefits. He worked very hard for British Speedway last time he was World Champion. For me, if giving British Speedway a miss means he can win another World Championship wearing the Union Flag - then I wish him all the luck in the World. I also support him missing said British Speedway. Surely even you can see that a British World Champion is of great advantage to British Speedway. Or - don't you care!!!
  15. What a very odd thing to say. Personally - I believe that with him in our Great Britain Team we would stand a very good chance of making the Final. Without him - NO CHANCE!!! If people want British Speedway to go down the Toilet - then leave him out. I really don't understand the logic of some people.
