Is Richie Worrall just the tip of the iceberg? Is he not the first of many? I sincerely hope not - but I fear it could be the case. -
I find it encouraging that Mr. Hedley is talking about next year too. Good luck to Tero too. Best wishes to Lewis as well. In my opinion Newcastle should do everything they can to hang on to him. I think he could be a real talent.

Mmmmm possibly - I hadn't thought of that. You should never assume anything though - certainly not in Speedway. -

I couldn't agree more. Perhaps they considered him too good for the Draft...... -

You are better off with a Single Malt. 'Scotch' of course. :approve: :approve: -
I hope it isn't too serious. The 'Diamonds' can ill afford to lose any more Riders through injury.

I hadn't realised that the Higgs Boson Collider had been going so long. :D Pedantic I know. BUT, Game Set and Match to me I think. If you believe Wikipedia. -

I actually agree with you BW. However Lucifer Sam clearly stated that Lee was not a National League Rider. I merely pointed out that he was for a spell. -

Contradicted yourself there mate. He did ride in National League for Boston ergo he was a National League Rider. Unless I am missing something of course. Perhaps Boston were not in the National League - and it was all a dream. -

That is an understatement. Sod off!!! -
I did - but I don't now. I really thought that when he was given the Captaincy he would kick on. I am genuinely disappointed that he hasn't because I believed he had potential. I honestly wanted to give him a chance this year. Sorry if you disagree - that is your right........

"igigigigig - I'll get them Dook Boys" Quote: Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! -
Yes - but I thought this would be a big year for him. I thought that the extra responsibility of being Team Captain might have spurred him on to greater things. For once this isn't a dig at him - I am truly disappointed.

There you go again BW. If anyone has the effrontery to disagree with you you turn to personal insult. I can and do understand the Debate. I even understand your argument that most of the top Riders were in Division One. That, though, does not alter the fact that the old National League was a bloody good League with lots of exciting Racing. What I don't understand is how you can call a League that contained at one time or another John Louis, Peter Collins, Michael Lee and Gordon Kennett to name just four, mediocre. I know that there were journeymen Riders in the old Second Division but there were journeymen Riders too in Division One and if you are honest you will admit that. Nobody, as I understand it, is saying that Division Two was better than Division One - it wasn't - it was still a great League though with some great Teams in it.
