  1. Sorry I spoke. I have a 19" Computer Screen and a 42" Telly. I don't know how to play one on the other - I am not very technical. I just thought I would give folk the benefit of my experience. I thought, obviously mistakenly, that was one of the purposes of this the Forum . Once again - many apologies.
  2. Looks so good you good lift it of the screen. Actually it's a bloody pity you can't - I'm hungry. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Eating the Pie 'n Mash would be infinitely more interesting than some of the Posts I have been reading on here of late.
  3. This is superb. Everything a Speedway Supporter could want. Film of lots of the GPs, Old World Finals, Individual Events and other Competitions. I have just watched the World Final of 1972 and it brought back many memories for me. Credit to my Son for sorting this out for me. I can see me watching this regularly. Thank you to those who have put all this together.
  4. I remember him. Not my favourite Referee.
  5. As I said, Greg Hancock, a great man for representing Speedway.
  6. Wrong!! Crazy Jack, Mad Jack, Millen the Villain is the man I was talking about.
  7. A superb action by the Newcastle Promotion: "NEWCASTLE are to recognise national Armed Forces Day this weekend by offering free admission to all servicemen and women for Sunday’s home match against Scunthorpe". In these days of International difficulties - it is great to see somebody recognising the Service to our Country by all of the Armed Forces. Information taken from the SCB Website.
  8. We did that at Sunderland. We worked on the Track for Free, Paid to get in and did everything that we could to ensure our future. It didn't work for us but I certainly hope that it does at Newcastle should the need arise. For 'Pits' entry only. If you are not useful then you don't get it.
  9. You don't have to be a World Champion to be great. Leigh Adams qualifies as a great, just in my opinion, because of the way he conducted himself, gave everything for his Team, was a superb Ambassador for Speedway and also seemed, to me at least, to be a very 'Sporting' person as regards giving credit to others. Greatness comes in many forms and a Rider I will always remember with a great deal of pleasure, for his actions both 'on' and 'off the Track, would be Leigh Adams.
  10. I seem to have picked up a Troll. How amusing.
  11. A novel answer to a difficult question. It is not without merit. Good Post.
  12. I don't know either. Thank you for Posting though. At least I know that there are TWO of us - far better than being alone RP.
  13. That is very true sidney. He was a great crowd pleaser (or crowd winder upper) depending on what Team you were supporting. ALWAYS fondly remembered at Sunderland. He gave us some great moments.
  14. That is a great shame because he would have been my pick of the Riders mentioned above.
